@robdmau ACTUALLY my ipad does have fm and it does play HD and hooks up to my plasma tv thank you very much and has for sd card, wtf would i need it for? guess what? my ipad will always be virus free, since it dosen't do flash but does HTML5 , and arguing about a kick stand? really? please, there are soo many different kinds of styles of kick stand cases or stands by itself.

tell you what, you enjoy your crappy little toy and leave the best stuff for people who know  tech.

tech huh? 4:3 is up to date? Monotasking is up to date? I can fit the archos in my pocket, can you? Just pulled the specs, VGA is not the same as HDMI, audio file support is nothing to what the archos handles, by FM radio I am talking about an acctual receiver and transmitter, not getting a radio app! Heck, doesn't even look like it has a real GPS moduel! It has GPS assist with 3G model only. That means you can only get GPS if you have 3G signal, Ohh and price.

why do android users get offensive when u tell them their apps are written poorly. here is the thing. i have paid 379 for my 32G archos. and i have bought it like a month ago. if u like it so much u can have it for 200!! still looks brand new! btw just because it is android doesn't mean that the apps are not locked. u cant download google apps..good luck if you are getting one.

fuck off, archos 5 is shit. dont buy it. it has stupid apps. pretty much archos created the device and now they dont give a shit. every thing is locked. and the screen is shitty. never as comfortable is iphone never. paied 349 for my archos 5 internet tablet. i will sell it for 250 and i have had it for a month and a half. its really bad dont let ppl like this guy fool you.

There is two gv apps in android market, just choose the one that is not official gv so that it able to run to your archos.

yes...google voice call free in the United States & Canada..you need a Gizmo5 because you need a number from them so that you can set it up as a callback number..

Gizmo, albeit thankfully acquired by Google, has not lifted their 3 min outgoing call limit, use Asterisk PBX and a DD-WRT capable router for true free calls, but this is definitely legit.

Aside from the fact that they're both touch screen devices from the same manufacturer, they're not really very similar at all, IMO, so it's hard to say which one is 'better' without knowing what you want to so with them specifically.

the headbox dont work you have to press the shell to make it work every hour hanging Constant crashes (Do not wake up) always reset push button automatic standby after 20 min ,deathly! for me absolutely not usable Fm-Transmitter only usable with Headset Radio dont work good problems as an example Archos 605 WIFI Keep away of cheap Products :-( Dirty france Archos are cheaters and support are is unfriendly.bye bye Archos
