  • @mell00ut5 You are 100% wrong. The sound matches up perfectly and the car sounds correct. Trust me my buddy has one, these are really cars. Along with his car and seeing almost every terminator video online id have to say your wrong.

  • @mell00ut5 It does seem quick but hes pushing 7psi over stock which is about 11.5*7 or an extra 77-85 hp right from the blower, and its ported as well as we know.

    Plus exhaust, intake, tune and all, that's gotta be 500rwhp maybe some more.

  • @mell00ut5 you can tell it's an eaton by the sound...KBs and Whipples sound different than the eaton...watch a few vids, check out a few of em in person and online, you'll see what I mean...and with a ported eaton you can easily get 500 rwhp with alls upporting mods and a good tune but that's about the max...after that it's KB time

  • @mell00ut5 you are 100% wrong...that's just a 500 rwhp cobra pullin hard to 130...try ridin on one...a guy my friend used to work with had a kb cobra with 618 to the tires and it woudln't catch traction punchin it on the interstate at 70 mph in 3rd until you hit 90-100 mph and it pulled alot harder than this (obviously)...so it's not fake...it's just a fast fuckin car

  • @midnight347 yeah my best friend has an 03 cobra. not pushing as much power though. he's around 450 to the tires with an 8lb lower, stock upper. it's an absolute blast to drive. but i love how there are still several people picking apart my comment though, which is 3 pages in and months old...

  • @bmoney082 those were my thoughts in 06 when i started driving lol.. i got an 03 GT and when i first got it insured i had them compare the price to an older civic (cheapest on insurance i could think of) and the difference was only like $300 a year if i remember correctly which is worth it! The jump from GT to 03 Cobra when i turned 18 wasn't bad either, to them, its almost the same car being V8 manual 2 door etc.. only difference was a vert is cheaper on insurance than a hardtop (weird right)

    Yeah I agree. I'm 24 and have owned an '03 and now an '04 Cobra and the insurance company likes sodomizing me whenever they have the chance. I pay around $400 a month just for the car insurance. And about $400 for the car loan. So about $800 total. Kinda sucks but when I'm driving that baby I forget all about me getting wallet raped. MMMMM...Cobra :)

  • @kingjoe3883 and just so you don't get laughed at again at a later point in life, the only correlation (similarity) between gas tank level and boost is #1 you make boost when you have some gas in your tank and #2 you don't make boost and car doesn't work with no gas in the tank. lmao i cant believe im explaining this right now

  • @iGOTCHOPPERS1 thats what i mentioned earlier if you read my post. Maybe with you being stock its fine to be boosting below quarter or half a tank, but my cobra isn't stock and i am running more than double the boost from the factory with upgraded fuel mods/system. when you start making decent power and put down more than 600 rwhp you might want to take my advice.

  • @iGOTCHOPPERS1 If you didn't know your fuel pump is located in the center of your gas tank, and fyi fuel tends to slush around when you are WOT etc. when it slushes to the back and your pump doesn't get fuel to the motor you get detonation. I seen it happen to 2 or 3 cobras.

  • @kingjoe3883 lol i like the way youre typing all intelligent now that youre in an argument.. but the bottom line is that theres no correlation to boost and gas level, unless youre out of gas. if what your saying is true, my Cobra (14.5lbs of boost and 463rwhp/486rwtq 4 months ago) would have been fucked by now. ive ran people with the low fuel light on which is not the best idea, but when a chevy is claiming you're making ricer excuses, you gotta do what you gotta do. youre wrong my friend

  • ok i don't knw how much boost this cobra is running but eatons (stock blower) are eficient from 14-16 psi after that amount of boost it doen'nt make more power........im preatty shure this is a ported eaton because of the sound.....and cobras are betwen 3,600 to 3,800 pounds!!

  • @thadd677 yeah they are relatively fat. but if you put it on a diet. i have a battery relocation kit. in my tire well. axle swap. aluminum flywheel . ford aluminator engine. hood and trunk are carbon fiber. removal of sound deadning material in front half of car and under carpet ( left in the back). freeze forged internals and tranny housing ( lighter weight) . the f/r weight switch to 53/47 (-2/+2) and lost 240 pounds. and thats with all the mods on it.

  • there is no way a stock ws6 can touch a stock 03+ Cobra. Maybe a 99 or 01 Cobra, but please, the 03+ Cobras are blown, they're called "terminators" for a reason. Nothing against Trans Am's, but come on!

  • while the trans am does have a bigger engine displacement, it is at a bit of a disadvantage going bone stock versus a terminator cobra, which does have an eaton supercharger. like previous comments stated, headers are an upgrade that improve air flow for the car, but port, and pulley a terminator and the odds are in the favor of the cobra.

  • Well at least with a factory installed, you dont void your warrantee. With a supercharger you get less gas mileage but a hell of a lot more horsepower!

  • I was wondering if a super charger would perk up a 1988 Mustang GT but the ending is over 200,000 so that would be the first modification to rebuild or get new engine. Also need better brakes then too.

  • If your has headers it is not stock. A full bolt-on LS1 will beat a stock terminator. Port and pulley the cobra and the LS1 needs internal modifications to beat it. Ive been through two LS1 cars and now own an 04 cobra, just stating the facts.

  • LS1 engines respond surprisingly well with bolt-ons, fully done I'm sure it could beat a stock terminator but it's rare to find a cobra that hasn't been modded

  • ok well idk what your idea of stock is because all i have done to my ws6 is headers and free mods and cut-outs and i raced my buddies 2004 cobra 4 times 2 at the strip and 2 on the high way and won all 4 times...so not excatly stock but if fair was fair then lets put a supercharger on the ls1 then run em...

  • Then your friend can't drive Blown90Camaro. Terminator can run 12.6 stock, seen it done, incredible tho must have been the luckiest launch ever. Anyways they average 12.8, mine did stock. Anyways I can't race you with my Kenne Bell Cobra, it wouldn't be fair (2.8H Twin Screw, supporting mods etc etc, 688whp on pump, 856 on 110. Only 18psi, very very modest tune, however.

    I'd race you, from a 80mph roll with my Saab 2.0T Stage 3. 33PSI, LSD, weight reduction, car weights 2,987. nearly 500whp

  • Like cutting the stock airbox, bumping the timing, turning up a fuel pump(diesels) stuff you can do to a vehicle but doesn't cost any money, just time.

  • cutting the air box you can do yourself, and it will not change driveablilty much, sometimes people have stalling problems with the 03-04 cobra's after installing a cold air intake, the timing i would reccomend be done by a tuner, which at the same time i'd get a tune thrown on the car, that will also solve the stalling problem, and free up about 20+hp on these cars.

  • um 03 cobras come stock with an acclaimed 390 hp and 390 ft lb of trq.....but realisticaly they put down about 420hp from the factory but with release laws back in 03 kept ford from advertising the real numbers of 420, so they released the cobras at 390hp.

  • Just exhaust doesn't give you but a little hp, couple it with intake and a tune you're lookin at like 50 more, add upper and lower pullies and you'll go from the stock 360s to the ground to mid to upper 400s to the ground, maybe almost 500 on 12 to 14 lbs

  • i think your being rather generous on your gains, i'd say realisticly around 30 horsepwer with intake, tune, and exhaust depending on engine. 50 horepower gain on a hemi engine i can see, but most others not that much

  • not on an 03 cobra, k&n FIPK intake is dynod with no tune and gets almost 40 hp to the ground, if you get an upper pulley, like a 2.81 and a tune ur lookin at over 60hp increase, without intake and exhaust, proven on the dyno. I have a friend with a cobra and when he got upper and lower pulleys, intake, exhaust, and diablo tuned in on a dyno he went from high almost 400 to the ground to lil over 500. So on a cobra, yes alot of bang for buck, but on ust a gt, not much maybe 30, like you said

  • Yep, exactly. I have personally seen a bone stock cobra with a filter only dyno 417 rwhp.

  • cobra's make amazing power with not much modification, many people do intake and exhaust and gain 40 horse or more on the dyno.

  • I dunno man, seems close to stock to me. hard to tell since you can't see the boost gauge so I'm not sure, but judging by it he's just a bit faster than me. Pulls harder on the top end so he's probably got a smaller upper like a 3.2", most likely around 10-12 psi IMO
