Totally agree-they are refreshing beyond belief. I too feel strongly about this comparison-they are raw and talented and intriguing. The whole band make the Wild Beasts, drums, guitar, voice(s). Wow.

I bought the album like 3 days ago and i'm just going like totally crazy for it...i keep on listening to it ALL the time...i just love the way how it's soo melodic (not sure that's a word in english but i'm to lazy to check)...and it's also soo "entertaining"..or something like that..hard to explain i guess!

These guys are great. Anyone heard of a band called The Assosciates from the early 80's. He has a voice thats a bit their lead singer's Billy MacKenzie's. But maybe without the suicide twist.

I'm a huge Billy MacKenzie/Associates fan and caught on to Wild Beasts long before anyone mentioned any links/comparisons to them both. How weird is that! Their voices aren't the same but there are subtle similarities in Billy's and Hayden's voices, both being truly unique. Give the Associates/Billy a listen, it will really brighten your day if you like Wild Beasts.
