loved the way james kept going back to the same bonfire after killing 3-5 enemies. i don't mind mitch trying to help out james. if james really minded he would have said something already. :P i think their banter is like two friends playing a particularly sadistic video game on a saturday afternoon. was very excited to find another dark souls playthrough from gamefront. keep strong, james! you're doing great.

More good stuff guys! One thing I'd say though is to only do the sped up voices when redoing a spot that you've died in before, not the whole vid...Thanks & keep up the fun game play!

Also when exploring always have your shield up, to avoid suprise attacks. But during combat have it down to regain stamina, you can see all attacks coming so you know when to put it back up, and always try circling an enemy as Mitch said, when they attack and miss you should be directly behind them, then its just a case of lowering your shield and hitting R1/RB for a backstab.

Superb work guys lol hilarious. Dnt worry James, after much practice, and man will there be practice, you will get the combat down just fine. If you push the analogue stick slightly he walks, if you push it fully he runs, use this run technique to edge your way towards an enemy then as soon as he moves run back slightly as you have agro'd him. Then lock on and engage. Just let them attack first and just move back out of reach and when he misses attack once or twice then repeat.

@ScumPE just to let you know, Pyromancy Hand has A scaling(while upgrading it becomes S) from Intelligence, so basically your pyromancy will be stronger with more intelligence, however Intelligence isn't necessary for a pyromancer.

an important tip for your vids: quit the game where you are when you want to finnish the vid.when you restart the game you will be where you quit and enemies you killed will continue dead.no need to get back to the bonefire to finnish the vid

James, love your vids, but one tip :) You probably level intelligence because you think it levels pyromancy spells, but it does not. You wanna level attunment, so that you unlock more slots for more spells. Don’t waste souls on intelligence.

There's a shield so close to you! It's the wooden shield and so much better than what James is using. It's literally, down the stairs from the bonfire, left and immediately there's a door underneath where the archer is at, and through the door is a shield. TAKE THAT! PLEASE!
