You know, many of the people who likes superheroes are kids. Absolutely nobody complains about PG13 superhero movies, since it's pretty expected.. The comics themselves are T+ mostly. R-rated comic films are limited to adaptation of adult comics (Watchmen, History of Violence etc) or of characters that are themselves pretty mature (The Punisher, for example).

A lot of people are throwing around the word 'Valhalla', does it make a full on comic geek if I point out that the city of the Norse gods in Marvel mythos is called "Asgard"? Valhalla is the 'heaven' reserved for warriors who fall in battle. And for those who are complaining about a Black character in Asgard - you may as well be upset that Thor has blond hair instead of red. This is a movie version of Marvel's take on mythology. The Little Mermaid didn't die in the Disney version either!

People complaining this doesn't make sense when you take the Norse mythology into consideration, guess what: this is clearly different. It's Marvel mythology, it takes elements from the Norse mythos, but changes it, like every comic book does.

I see no reason for no black guy in Valhalla, it's not like the original mythos even talked about people from diferent colors, the world was a lot smaller back then, we dont know his role... Also, Valhalla is no "white heaven", it's an alien city.
