@12345Breana And how is Taylor, is he alright now? Tony is a great guy and a great leader, we still remember him here in Covington where he was Mr. Basketball. Tell him we are proud of him.
I remember back when he was with the phoenix suns, he hit up the Kings for 50 something points at arco arena. If only he was 3 or 4 inches taller. The best he could hope to be was a poor mans Joe Dumars. He showed flashes, but i don't know what Happened to him?
Tony is a great player. I've met him on a few occasions and he is a really classy guy. He played for Haywood Co. High School in TN which is just down the road from where I played for Gibson Co. Our schools were at Arkansas State Team Basketball camp in the summer of '90(?). We played right after HCH every day, so I got to see Tony Delk do some pretty incredible stuff as a high school standout. He once put up 80 something points on Jackson Central Mary who had 6' 10" center at the time.
i don't know. i'm not really a fan..... during lunch a whole bunch of people were in a group and in the middle was Tony Delk so since he's famous-ish i got his autograph.... anyone want it?
nah he's really great his height 6'2 just isnt right for his true positions SG. I know him personally he's a freak of a player. He's always jumped so high for his height Ive seen him score I believe 70 in a high school game. His best years were before the league. In highschool he was lights out. To some he seemed like the next MJ. His height did him no justice. He lead KY to the championship hitting 7 3s. hes the man
me and his nephew are close friends

He was one of those short shooting guards that could also play the point at times. Much like Eddie House.
