I have a question. When i ride a bus like this how can i find out about what this is powered with and such? Is there a tag somewhere on the bus or do i just ask the person?
Oh wow!!! You guys still got these in service?!?! Sounds excellent.... I didn't even know they made Cummins L-10 in Diesel form. I thought it was L-10G (for CNG) Thanks for the recording.
i miss CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) Flxible 5745-5764 Cummin powered buses... :-( i never got a chance to ride one and record its sounds...we had some heavy foot bus drivers and it would have gave everyone chills to listen to how those buses sound
What Flxible Came Back From The Dead? This Bus Look Recently Brand New. Clean as Shit & Drives Brand New Too. Excellent Video My Friend. Do Make More Because These Too Will Become Classics Soon.
Love Flx Metros, one of my favorite High Floor buses ever!!! I wish that Tri-Met did had MCI& Nova Classics.

Is rhis a C D or E??
jamin108 2 years ago
@jamin108 - Being as it was built in 1992, I believe it would be a C. Someone correct me if I am wrong please.

@busrailfan
And the 1994 Flxible Metros numbered #1817-1843 are "D" series.

@busrailfan
Yes this is the "C" model because of it being built in 1992.

@ClassicTVMan81 - That's exactly what I thought.

@busrailfan
And the 1817 series Flxible Metros are "D" models, built in 1994.

@ClassicTVMan81 - Yes that's correct.

I think it's more knowing what your engines sound like. Or knowing what they look like if you get to see what's behind that back engine hatch!
