lions have little endurance when it comes to cheetah's. they are stronger and more fierce but cheetah's are lightning fast and have better endurance. i was suprised at this outcome.

Um ... When a Cheetah goes against a lion, they know right from wrong on who is going to win against a fight. Cheetahs claws are like dog claws, which make scientits wonder if they are a cat or a dog. If a cheetah were to attack a lion, the chances of a cheetah winning are very slim.

I'm not a huge fan of big cats, but absolutely love cheetah's. they get such a rough time from their bigger cousins who come and bully them off their kills. these guys are the hardest workers of all the big cats on the african plains, and it's mesmerising to watch them at work. due to their fragility they can't really scavange meals from other animals. they're just pure out and out hunting machines.

Compared lions, cheetahs are pretty fragile cats, they're built for speed not power, so I doubt she could have killed the lioness, more likely Honey would have come off worse in an actual fight. I think the cheetah knew that too, which is why despite being faster she didn't catch up to the lioness, it was a bluff ,and it worked. It was very brave of the female cheetah to challenge a full grown lioness like that though. Honey is an awesome mother!!
