the gun is in modern warfaare 2 you can mount it in the mission after you catch the arms dealer two trucks show up in the first battle scene and you go near the back dont blow up the truck and a mount thing should apper

It's an m2 from the back of 1 of the pickup trucks and theres enemy mg42s at the start of the bog and in sins of the father too I think but you need super jump to find them =/

Its either the turret WAS an easter egg, ooor one of the makers were told NOT to put another turret on the mission but when his boss left he still gave it a shot and while he did so his boss caught him and he threw it up in the sky and it eventually landed there randomly. :3D

Dude its probably something the game uses for when you get to the part with the enemy 50.cal truck. THe script probably just tells the enemy to use it like a normal turret.

@hokage97531 yeah, thats how guns work, i think somebody is gonna get an A on their test. but the point is the magnification of the scope makes it more difficult to hit the shots at close range, and quickscopers get one shot, most other players get somewhere in the 20 to 100 bullet range.

@hokage97531 Also in cod 4 it takes about a second or so to zoom in to try to hit the shot, and if that doesnt work, you have to zoom out, pull the bolt and zoom back in to shoot again, so about 1.75 seconds there. basically goes to show that if you cant kill a sniper in less than 2.75 seconds youve missed your window and gotten outplayed, its just that snipers put themselves at such disadvantages just to have fun, and when a little tryhard cant do it too, they hate and call it luck.

In MW2, You can Go out of the map in one of the special ops missions called; "Hidden" and outside of the map are buildings from the mission "All Ghillied Up" in CoD4. But anyways, i'm guessing outside of maps they just test out the props of the game on the outside (explaining the random turret) and leave them to see if players actually find those Easter eggs.

@FireSqy GSc are the map file , the game load the map gsc , like MP_Favela and things , and sometimes , in SP like one of the Special ops mission... the map is a map from the previous cod which then some object where add together , takes less work and space than making a new whole file.

I think that was a test for mw2 because that same turret is usable in full form in the mission "Out of the hornets nest" if you jump onto a truck.
