@thyProphecy666 You have probably mistaken a pellet gun from an airsoft. Pellet guns can easily without a doubt pierce skin. I have a few and they can shoot across two and a half foot ball fields easily. Ps. Your YouTube name is crap bud.

@999ares999 Simple math bud. The gelatine packs come in one size. One box of gelatine (4 packs) will fill a 3 cup container. 4 cups is a quart. 4 quarts is a gallon. Not too hard to figure out.

This is based off gelatin, which is nowhere near what mythbusters use for testing purposes. Theirs is used to replicate human tissue, where this is basically thick gelatin that could be shot with a pellet gun. If you're doing this for testing purposes rather than pure fun, use the real deal; this stuff will break by touching it.

What's the FPS on your Airsoft Gun that you have used in this video? I had followed the steps to make this, and tested it with an Airsoft Gun that is of 260 FPS. That stuff actually penetrated the gel, but it does not actually break the skin at close range ( Don't ask me how I know that. ). I've also tested my spring powered FAMAS of 370 FPS, of course that did penetrate the gel, but it does not break actual skin.

First, there's no way in hell a 12$ air-soft gun would ever penetrate 2inches into human flesh. and besides almost no air soft gun would hit with enough force to lodge itself into your skin they are called air soft for a reason. second, what u have made is an imitation form of ballistic gel, the kind they use on myth busters is of a higher quality its much more durable and tactile. this explain why an air-soft gun would go 2inches into your imitation ballistics gel.
