Actually I have survived crash with over 70kph in a moment of impact - I want to add that I forgot to fasten the belts so I was very lucky - this is true that 206 maybe looks unsafe but it is really safe car - front of my car looked almost identically like on a video abovebut interior was untouched and I was able to close the door without any problems

@Volvoforlife08 i wouldn't say "very slow" to be honest. The only crash i had was while i was driving at 40-50 km/h in a renault clio '92 , and even though the car wasn't totalled , it just had the radiator broken , and the hood a bit "redefined" , i smashed my head against the anti-sun thing and so i had quite a serious headache for the rest of the day.Now imagine driving at 70-80 km/h smashing your head against something, i don't really want to think about the ending. Not if there's no AIRBAG.

@846524162 actually no it wasnt totaled, i had a broken radiator, right headlamp broke to pieces and my hood looked like if it was crushed paper... i was going like 50 km/h (like 31or so miles an hour) and braked hard so i think it was like 40 or so

i had a 206 and i was driving too fast considering the wet road,so i lost control and crashed into a hill wich started next to the road,then flipped on the roof.

i unbelt myself and climbed out of the car with only a scratch on my hand from the broken window - i didn't even feel any pain the next day.

now i drive a 207:)

I had a 206 and i had an accident with a big truck while I was running with 200 km/h in the wrong way without my seatbelt on, I really destroy the truck, I killed the whole family in the truck, and I didn't had any scratch! Peougeot is amazing!

Nearly all of the Peugeot206 owners are young.

And They are buying high powered models.

For Example 206GTI . We can't say we are safe in this car with a 64kph crash test .

Because accidents are happening at speeds over 100kph. Even you have a BMW 5-serie car , you don't have much chance to survive at speeds over 100kph.

Best thing is to prevent accidents.

Thats very true but at the end of the day accidents happen. I own a peugeot 206 and seeing videos like this makes me feel just a little bit safer when i'm driving around coz I know that if some idiot forces me off the road I should be ok. But you're right accidents are better off prevented that's why I abide by speed limits and safety laws. Ha find another 19 year old who does that! lol
