Well of course the ISO's going to load faster. It's reading from the memory stick which is solid state memory. Solid state will always read faster than a disk drive.

And what this video about is comparing the speed of umd compare to iso on the memory card, and the iso is faster because the umd takes longer time to transfer data, iso on memory card is faster cause it transfer data faster. Wow. If you have an ISO ready right now, run it. Notice that the memory light will blink frequently when its running. I dont what this guy done, but an ISO and UMD should run the same. When an ISO is ripped, all DNA is converted from the UMD to ISO form, this will even make the load times the same. Only thing that will be different when comparing the two is that if you rip an ISO off a site and you dont rip your own, of course they'll be different. A simple scratch can alter ISO's ripping.

The bottom psp contain the legal UMD.

MS have a ratio of transfert much faster than an UMD.

In fact, reading an UMD that need power to spin and move the laser at any loading is much more slower than doing it on a MS.

I can give you for example a CDplayer VS a MP3player. But in this case, the music is compressed.

You better have one on hand, because it is required to play iso movies ;) i.e. you need to have a umd disc to mount the iso on it, weather it's a game or a umd movie, you have to have just one. But, if you have a better way of getting the same features (like movie menus on startup) of a umd movie from an iso (which btw was ripped from an original umd movie) then reply.

u can run iso's without a umd in the drive. you have to go to settings and turn umd auto start off, then u have to turn off ur psp, turn it back on in recovery mode, and you can make it so that ur psp doesnt need a umd in the drive.
