Yes, the CASSIO CTK-611 Does have have midi in and out ports, I also have a midi in and out+USB link cables. Just to clarify please, and please forgive my lack of knowledge, I never haved midi before or a midi system, I know about portable studios, they are expensiive from what Ii know of. Anyway, will I need the VTS and the DAW so I can link my keyboard to mycomputer? Are Midi Keyboard controllers really that cheap? I will look into that, thanks for your information.

I really love this video, well played, great keyboard. Did you use a midi system to record from your synnthesizer? I am looking into ways I can best record my music from my electronic keyboard. I hope to one day get a sythesizer my self. I use a PC line mic at moment, any advice would be apprechiated and anything about best buys for syethesizers would be appreciated too.

@petbabyamy Does your keyboard have midi output? If it does, you don't really need anything else! Software synts (VST) are so good these days and many are free. All you need is a keyboard and a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software. I personally like Ableton Live, but there are cheaper alternatives like Reaper or FL Studio (Both have trial versions). You can also get cheap ($50) MIDI only keyboard/controller and use that as well. Send me message if you have more questions :)

@uservinc Unfortunately Fantom-G doesn't have auto-accomp. feature :( I uploaded MIDI file into Roland and played parts of it live.
