@MsBirdMom there is nothing cruel about this video, I own a GREY and I think this video is great. Obviously you can not afford such a great companion so you have to nick the jam out of someone elses doughnut and act all PC. Your views are not welcome.
The Grey is outweighed & all it takes is one bite to kill it.
The main thing I hate when I see videos such as these is a novice bird owner will think its okay to let their dog or cat interact with their bird. It's bad enough that wild animals (parrots are NOT domesticated) are subject to being in the pet trade where they are subjected to neglect and abuse, the parrots are subjected to danger just to satisfy their owners' yen for a "cute video." Quit forcing the species together, idiots.
@MsBirdMom If you havent noticed, these two are very friendly with each other. There is absolutely no need to bring up neglect and abuse and pet trade. Considering the fact that YOU dont own these two pets, you dont know how they will interact so keep your ignorant comments to yourself and dont watch. Your comment is obnoxious and irrelevant to THIS video. Take your shit somewhere else.
@perfectstrangers67 Some people just don't want to admit that sometimes animals can and will get along just fine together when they are a part of the same family. They're so stuck up about domesticating wild animals but the way I see it, the domesticated animals and the animals that adapt to urban life are the ones who have the greatest chances of survival so complaining about it is moot.
I'm a bird lover and have experience keeping them and I saw nothing unsafe here. They were both full of respect for each other and were just playing. I thought it was cute. You guys chill out. lol
This video made me cringe tpp while watching it. Whoever made this video is endangering their little African Grey parrot. The saliva of a cat and or dog is VERY hazardous to ALL birds and is even lethal to these little guys. Cats, and dogs must ALWAYS be separated from parrots for their safety. It is the owners responsibility to do so in order to protect their birds
This is disgusting having a poor little African Grey parrot cornered like this by a bull dog. You should be ashamed! Also, you should have your Grey taken away from you! A dog and cat's saliva is extremely hazardous and even lethal to these little guys, to A:: birds and they must ALL be separated from them at all times.

my west highland white terrier (very spirited bird hunting dogs) does absolutely no harm to my cockatiel.. stop freaking out guys.. they just playing around
They love each other and do this daily through the cage. The bird is definitely in control. She scares the dog. I have them out together and they play. This video is play time.
@tvwright01 I'm pretty sure that if the bird felt tortured, it would not have just sat there. African Greys are very bold and fearless birds. I also own a Frenchie and know this this dog was purely playing with no intention of harm. Now stop torturing US and the poor poster with your needless comments.

funny thing about birds, they have wings - they can fly away from things you know. This is too cute, thanks for posting!

It only takes one screatch for your bird to get an infection and die. This isn't a very wise choice.
