This is boring. I lay no blame at the feet of the Sagat player for that though. He's playing to win and that is his right. At a tournament, there's something wrong with him if he's not doing this. The fault here lies with the people whose job was to balance this game. They should have done a better job here with Sagat's fireballs. They definitely needed more cooldown time, maybe even a little more startup time.

the problem i think here is that the guile had many missed opportunities to FADC into ultra which is what ur supposed to do again project spamming. Then again Sagat sends some really fast projectiles so i can understand the hesitation. Plus the FADC into ultra isnt exactly easy.

You can. There's a little trick to it, and I believe you rotate (if your looking from left) counter clock wise then +KKK. Not exactly sure if that's correct, but it's the same concept when you flashkick to super.

Just performed a c.lp -> fadc -> ultra. I'm trying to perform a sonic boom ->fadc -> ultra, because I'm sure that can work, even a flashkick ->fadc -> ultra. It'll just take a ton of practice, i'll keep trying that Sonic boom next.

the way you do it is hold downback when holding focus, then when you get hit, you quick tap foreward and roll to back up +kkk. It takes a while to get, but I've done it with vega.
