@camarosam - I'd say you are more or less correct. It has been a Hybrid. The surviving Communist countries have allowed some aspects of Capitalism into parts of their countries (witness Hong Kong, Shanghai), and the "Capitalist" countries have been changing more and more how they operate to be communist/socialist. There is no pure example of either of these things. They are seeming to merge and in many cases the good parts are not what is merging.

Then over the last two centuries we've taken their wisdom, allowed it to be tossed aside gradually and all of those gradual changes have taken their toll. Awesome song, Loved it. I usually dont get into politics because there is too much party verses party even with the regular people fighting each other. Its like high school all over again. The federal government is far too large and has taken on far more powers than was intended. The balance of powers to prevent repeating historic mistakes has been destroyed over time and that power is no longer balanced. Paying $100 for a hammer is pretty stupid too... they still do it. :)

Then over the last two centuries we've taken their wisdom, allowed it to be tossed aside gradually and all of those gradual changes have taken their toll. Can you get them out of your life without revolution? Not likely. Can a non-violent revolution work? They have in very rare circumstances like with Gandhi but, for the most part they do not. Non-Violent solution requires morality.

Don't get caught up on race, religion, etc. Those things are the tools they can use to keep us divided. Avoid stereotypes. There are good Jews. There are bad jews. Awesome song, Loved it. I usually dont get into politics because there is too much party verses party even with the regular people fighting each other. Its like high school all over again. I used to be very active politically but I just got tired. It was the voters not just the politicians, that real made me just drop it and no longer care. Just isnt worth the headache.

Unfortunately, I recently came to the conclusion that when I take a break from politics, politics does not take a break from stealing away my rights and making boneheaded moves. For that reason, as much as I would love to take a break from politics, I feel that it is a more dangerous thing to do at this point in history than it has been for a couple centuries. Also, hard for me to complain about it if I didn't try to stop it. :)

I was pretty involved at one point myself but, I figure sharing information that the mainstream media neglects to share is something I can still do when I come across it. I also vote, donate to causes, etc.

Tell them what laws help us and what laws hurt us. Seems like there are more laws out there that only help the government and hurt the people.

@jessiewilson3 - It is not against banks. It is against a particular type of banks. The ability to mint and control money was one of the few powers the federal government originally had. The Federal Reserve we have today is a corporation NOT controlled by or part of the federal government. It is private and it laughs at congress when they ask for answers to questions such as "Where did you send the bailout money?" - It's out there if you dig. Zeitgeist: Addendum covers it well.

Sadly he did nothing he claimed he would do when being elected. Some things he has done the opposite. So, while this is called a lie, it does not make him a fascist. It does make him a typical politician and like many famous fascists he is an awesome speaker. I have some suggestions in another post.

@LuckyAssult - I for example have studied the fall of the Weimar Republic prior to its fall and the coming of WW2. Many things that happened to that country have also happened and are happening too. They too had a politician with great charisma and speaking ability. I consider Obama to be more of a puppet. The problem is much bigger than him. He is a figure head. However, if you respect the man then "lul, wut?" or rather "Why?" What is there to respect? His speaking ability?

The federal government is far too large and has taken on far more powers than was intended. The balance of powers to prevent repeating historic mistakes has been destroyed over time and that power is no longer balanced. Paying $100 for a hammer is pretty stupid too... they still do it. :)

We've become a society of selfish children, wanting insurance and stability and people holding our hand all the time in case something goes wrong. Even the penal system doesn't truly hold us accountable for our own actions by putting judgment in the hands of a higher "parental" authority rather than leaving it to the people.

The guitar riffs are rehashed Iced Earth. But its not like he has been writing anything not rehashed in the past 6 or 7 years. It is kind of strange, Schaffer is often considered as extremely "conservative" , however in Europe "conservative" means absolute loyalty to the state and is often seen as one step towards fascism, fighting for liberty and individual rights is rather considered as left-wing ( not to be mistaken with "communism")

I know it is in the works. If you can't wait you can download it from the Sons of Liberty website (I have it listed in my video on 2nd screenshot). Jon Schaffer encourages you to make your own CDs if you are up to it and give copies to other people. He simply asks that you list the official website on the CD as well so people will visit the site for the other info. A high quality version of songs is available there for $9.99.
