@QRF11B I thought Michael Jordan was the Michael Jordan of basketball. Back in the day it was pure undiluted basketbox. PF's indeed had the license to kick yo ass, damn!
i have never seen todays stars(lebron, kobe, wade, melo etc) get hacked like jordan in the paint. u shld make a video comparing todays defense and the 90s defense. especially the defense queen james is facing.
is doesn't matter jordan avg 45ppg or 50ppg or score 100pt, still today nodody have avg 36 or 37ppg before or score 60+pt in palyoff or 50+pt in the final or grab 69pt with 18rb 6ast, and drop 3041pt a season. nobody cant do it even there is NO MORE HANDCHECK.
some of these players getting involved with mj are just a bunch of scrubs who wanna get some publicity cause they suck so much they cant make it on their merit and skill in the nba
notice how all the guys who tried to fight mj or get him mad nobody knows
Kobe has no say in the issue, and Wilt, as great as he was individually, didn't play NEARLY as well in the post season as he did during the regular season, and he "only" won 2 NBA titles.
I always watch youtube videos but I never type anything. I couldn't let this video go without a response, it deserves a standing ovation and the time out of my life to show my appreciation to the person who uploaded the video and to the man himself, Michael Jordan. In all do respect to any player to come before or after, I truly believe we, as fans of these games, will never see a player of his Caliber again. Michael Jordan is the G.O.A.T.
Man I tell you. These "Newbees/Youngstas" runnin' around today talkin' all that trash. About who's who, who's the "Greatest", Lebron this, Kobe that. They really need to do a full analysis on the game of basketball. They have NO CLUE!! As Mike said; "I Would Drop 100 In Todays Game". The way he dominated the game then, can you imagine Michael in today's watered down game? There are many "Greats" but Mike is the best all around player to date. This is a great vid.
@VinmanMJ23 kobe can make whatever speech he wants .. he can't sniff jordan's jockstrap .. that's not taking anything away from kobe's own accomplishments though
Great video brings back a lot of memories. Well done. The 47 minutes flew by. It felt like 15 or 20 minutes but told a terrific story of how hard Jordan had to work to put up the numbers that he did. Seeing the footage of the defenses makes more impressive that Jordan made things look easy when it actually was everything but easy. Just shows how great Jordan was physically but also how great Jordan was mentally.
Btw listening to pippen's clips in this, he doesnt come across as bitter or jealous at all like some people have accused him of in past days. He comes across as a pretty intelligent student of the game and he said unequivocally Jordan could put up a 100 points if he felt disrespected and with today's rules, absolutely he could.
@nappyweed111 he has always been very much bitter about being second fiddle to MJ, famously so
if you know your history, you'll recall when he refused to come back into the game for the final shot because a play was not drawn up for him to shoot (during the two year period that MJ retired)
"Just watching him dribble up that court and have him look you in the eye & not know what was he going to do, scariest thing in the world" wow coming from Larry Bird. Michael was definitely the greatest basketball player ever, perhaps the most dominant athlete of all time, in terms of how he dominated his specific sport. What gets me to this day is how efficient he was offensively. If kobe & lebron played against him in his prime, he wouldve punked them the way he did Barkley, Malone, & Drexler
Great job, Bruce! And thank you! There's a lot - and I mean A LOT - of people who should watch this! There can be no comparison! There's none who matched his heart on the court and that alone is enough to put him above all!
Awesome video Bruce. It's best to let the players who actually played in the NBA comment on who's the best because they would know better than anyone.
Those rules put perimeter players at a huge disadvantage as compared to the rules currently applied in the NBA. It's also important to note that basketball is traditionally dominated from the center position, so for a shooting guard to dominate as long and consistently efficient the way MJ did is unbelievable.
Insert perimeter player ____________: I'm the best!
MJ: I'm Sugar Ray Robinson, pound for pound the best, and you overprotected, never been in no real test.
I had no idea how physical it was back then. I grew up watching M.J. but I was really young at the time. This was a great video! What is your favorite Finals series in Jordan's career?
Kobe...booyyee.. thats my dude right there...JOrdan is the greatest ever...Dont know what it is about Labron but I just cant stand him..lmao..Maybe it's his attitude/personality..idk.... and for the dick riding labron fans I'm not hating I admit he's a good player...he's no MJ though
Look at the intensity of the regular season games !!
