I love the way he talks... sometimes I spend an entire afternoon watching interviews, and when I've seen them all I read old interviews. I don't know there is something about Mr. Robert Smith that makes me want to know more about him and try matching the things he says on interviews with his lyrics... like the song "dressing up" well I think is about him and Mary dressing up in costumes at home (he said to a magazine they did that a LOT when they were alone and danced and played like kids)
God he is the consumate professional. I love the way he expends so much energy wieghing up the tension between the inegrity of the music and the expectations of the audience!
I like the cures old stuff better tho...but thats just me...but then again....the more newer stuff sound more artistic and melow......what ever i jus think THE CURE is awsome and i wish more people know about them here
Oh my, people get 'thumbs down' for simply having an honest, respectful opinion? Woe betide us all! ;).... XD
Some people just shouldn't own computers really. lol.
I agree to some extent. Even though I like most of the album it certainly isn't going to appeal to everyone, and there's nothing wrong with that. I prefer the b-sides over some of what made it on the album. Oh well, C'est la vie! Nice interview... Robert's still kinda hawt in his own crazy way...
The idea of playing one song from each album excited me from the start. The second Robert announced it, I thought "Which of my favorites from each album will they play?"
It was exciting to actually know which album would be next since they were played in order, hear the first few notes of the song, and go back in time with them.
Robert, I see why the time had to be cut short because of people needing to get on the tube, but you truly made the most of it
Please remember to play more important songs next time you're on tour then, Robert, not half of what you think is accessible. It's not just bellweather fans your Canadian audience! I want Underneath the Stars, The Figurehead, Drowning Man, Siamese Twins, Cold, The Big Hand, Doing the Unstuck, Apart, The Drowning Man, Trust, A Letter to Elise, Three Imaginary Boys, and Want. The singles are amazing, too, but they're not always as good live. We need more than the usual "big ones," please.

His interviews are always interesting. But i think thats mostly due to him being a unique individual.
Other people sound the same as eachother. Completely boring.and superficial.

Smith`s grown up a bit in terms of interviews in front of the camera. Haven`t seen him looking so relaxed & open before.

I hope he realised that 90% of the people there (me included) were there to see The Cure and not White Lies, Franz Ferdinand or Crystal Castles!
Awesome Night.
