When you have the opportunity of sharing the mat and aikido with your little kids, is like having your souls united in a more intimate way. I hope that my kids will practice aikido in the future in a joyful way like today.

nice to see this side of the coin. Normally martial arts are portrayed as very serious and no time for a smile or two like they did. Well that's what i've percieved.

I think O Sensei was the most charismatic martial artist in the last 100 years easily. Not to sound Hollywood or anything but he had that look and the skill and the insight. He had it all.

They should make a Hollywood movie about the guy. It would be great cause Aikidos principles are so universal and unifying that why wouldnt Hollywood want a movie done? I'd watch it. No doubt.

Hollywood can make the film radiate grandeur. The Japanese can add realism and practicality and the Europeans... well they can just use European stunt doubles. Either way Ueshiba life is magnificient and should be brought to the masses via film. That would be awesome
