Some of the moaners here need to cheer up. It's a real fun addition to an mmo world. Allows players to bring some colour and culture into the game. Not everything has to be about 'skill'. In fact if skill is what you're after, what are you skill junkie's doing playing games anyway? None of them are rocket science, or brain surgery. I laugh whenever i hear so many gamers go on ,and on about skill, lol.

Nope, I bet 3 all three who have lutes aren't minstrels. 2 of them are kind of pointless since it's the same melody and same sound.

All characters that are non-minstrels learn 2 basic instruments at lvl 5. Minstrels learn all by time.

Not true, i was part of eldar. Some yes were rude and cared only about lvl 50 people. But my guildy's and some random lvl 50's who saw me in need of help and came to my aid, now i cant remember there names since it was along time ago when i last played LOTRO (not that its bad, i mean the lag of the battlefield was horrible and all but it's a great game!)

hmm I always played on Brandywine I think, and I never had that problem. Had a nice clan (Claymore Nation, ive quit now but I came across a video of them fighting the Balrog here on youtube :P not that I would've joined...well actually I would have joined but died quite early, I really loved dangerous places, not a good habit for a lvl 20 minstrel) but I always helped everybody doing a quest or something, or guide them to places they had to go. And others would team up with me when i explored :D

Hi, I'm the short hobbit playing the Harp in this vid, yep i agree there shoulda been a wind instrument but we were kinda changing instrumens all night long anyway, having a blast trying to play a bunch of things in sync and actually, the extra lutes we had made it sound very powerful, you cant really tell on youtube but in-game it sounded very loud. And to that guy who made the negative comment, i'm glad you left LOTRO! Thanks again Eadrik!!! Masota

Yeah, that's the one "downside" of LotRO. The computer spec requirements to run this game smoothly are insane! Obviously you can't tell by these videos due to YouTube's quality, but this is set to the High setting. There's higher quality resolutions available too, which just seems surreal! Hope you're able to get your computer back and running soon so you can enjoy this game as much as we are!
