I suppose theirs powers are somewhat equal, it would be more of a competition to see who is faster. One thing, though, is that Sidious don't need a wand to use the force, so i guess he has clear advantage over Voldemort. While Voldemort could easily kill Sidious with a spell, Sidious would faster than that immobilize him and kill him with a lightsaber.

Voldermort can die, palpatine cannot, for he is one of many cloned bodies that he has been in over his extreamly long life. so no palpatine would never loose and to be fair this is more correct to what i think would happen, nothing is impossible with the force remember, whereas magic in the harry potter books has its limits. and the killing curse well you have to move/swish your wand to cast a spell, the force doesnt require anything like that.

Though I would agree that Sidious is a far greater entity than voldemort, people seem to discard the fact that he can teleport and make himself invisible. This would make a duel 50/50 imho, with not always the same outcome.
