This is not about fooling the patients into believing something....But making them realize that you will stand by their side and help them in every way possible. Communication is an art. In our life we learn from our mistakes and then we realize after having made mistakes that we shouldn't have said something like we did or that we should have acted differently. The communication skill is taught to doctors to avoid this, along with other things that includes patient care as the basic concept.
i will prefer have a doctor like Silva that the one NHS provide me....telling me "sometimes this happen"...no eye contact, just writting like he is a secretary....and ask for exams and a better treatment and always saying "for what?" or "lets continue with the actual treatment"

You are an awful Doctor... ...You have developed a formula to fool your Patients into believing that you care. Try caring for them is not that hard.
