We have a 4 year old Corgi and he has never been a "barky" dog. He make a low woof when we tell him not to bark back at the "riff/raff" next door. He loves car rides and have never barked in the car like a chihuahua. He is to dignified.

@Poeticbladezero I have had 2 Corgis. The Girl that I had liked to bark, it was loud and I hated it.. But my Boy that I currently have barley barks. I love how quiet he is... Bad thing about that is if we had someone break in, he would bring them a chew toy to play with them. He is such a wimp... So, I mean barking can be a good thing but overall, I think I would rather not have a dog that barked. I'll take my chances with an intruder. So its luck of the draw, like any dog.

Don't make the mistake of thinkig Corgis are just cute little fluff balls. They were bred to herd cattle in Wales and as herding dogs, they are tough enough and agile enough to intimidate full sized cows.

Yumi is so cute <3 wish mine were a puppie again...be carefull there very fragel if u step on them they wiil cry in Wheep. there very fragel dogs .. but they like to herd your feet when you walk around the house . i have become very bond with my baby girl i still call her ababy girl haha shes 3 now 4 on feb 1st. you have to eye ball them all the time make sure you train Yumi not to pee in the house .... i luv that name btw yumi howdid u come up with that name ?

@SheenaBeena08 Yeah corgi puppies are the cutest! Yumi means beautiful in Japanese, I miss Yumi being a puppy too. She's now almost a year and a half and fully grown. She'll always be my baby girl too =) She's always by our side and we would step on her by accident sometimes and she'll give out a small yelp, but its like that with most small dogs because you can't see them at your feet. We've started potty training her the day we got her and she picked it right up within a few weeks to a month.

@vivalabam67 as a puppy, every time before we took her outside to go potty we would pick up her paw and make her touch the dangling bell hanging from the door knob right before she goes outside, and she eventually picked it up within a few weeks and started doing it herself. Yumi doesn't really bark a lot, shes really quiet at home unless shes outside and sees cats or other animals that rattles the bushes.

We trained her ourselves. Corgis are extremely smart and they learn really fast! Yumi learned all the basics: sit, down, roll over, wait, shake in just days/weeks! now she can also do Hello by waving her paw, circle, jumping through our arm in a hoop, play dead 'bang', fetch, catch etc.... we also potty trained her to ring a dangling doorbell if she needs to go potty. So yeah they are really easy to train =)

I remember picking my girl up and found out right when I got to the airport that I forgot the memory card. LOL... I was so mad because I wanted to catch her 1st moments with me.

No I wasn't able to record picking her up at the airport, now I regret not doing it. We were so excited and she was super cute and quite in her crate when we first saw her.
