If you are talking about Jesus, we believe that he is one with God (that the father, the son, and the holy spirit are the same being, just like the leaves on a 3-leaf-clover are all part of one clover, but seperate parts.) When we pray to Jesus, we are praying to God, not JUST Jesus. I hope that clarifies it for you. Don't take that to mean I am trying to convert you or anything (the crusades are long over) but I do hope that the ideas of it make a little more sense now.
