  • You don't like this version? You don't like music. Play and simple. Just admit it and go away, please. Thank you.

  • great version of this song...fuck anyone who speaks shit...go listen to coldplay

  • You're a prick

  • who s this fuckin' nigger?

  • @parisfr12

    watch your mouth, wasp-nazi

  • @parisfr12 you twit

  • @parisfr12 get outta here with that comment....inbred racist....You shouldnt support Joey if you can't feel this

  • It looks like General Johnson joined Joey at that jam session in the sky, as of yesterday. Rest in peace you two.

  • joey ramone debe estar revolviendose en su tumba

  • holy crap this sucks but it's good at the same time.

  • This is so typical of Joey. He loved all kinds of rock music and really appreciated traditional pop from the 50's and 60's. He had the best rock voice ever! Rock & Roll saved Joey, and he saved it right back!

  • This video made me laugh, not a bad version but I will always prefare the Ramones version. Just kind of scary how different this song sounds in a different style of music to the point I wouldn't reconise it unless I fully paid attention.

  • Joey (nee Jeff) loved popular music of all kinds, and despite all his other issues he had a wide open mind when it came to music.

  • Great song. This is basically the Ramones "Rockaway Beach" merged with the Chairmen of the Board's "On the Beach" which General wrote. General sings some of the "Rockaway Beach" parts. Joey sings the "On the Beach" parts. The sound and production is very General Johnson. Can anyone tell me how these two greats got together? It is great to see two such heavy musicians from two totally different genre collaborating. I love it and it should have been a hit!!!!!!!!!!

  • muy buena dupla

  • Joey ruled/rules. Great version! This was very like Joey to do this and is not the only more Pop cover of a Ramones song he ever did. There arent enough Ramones fans commenting here. The rest of you fuck off. Im surprised these ignorant fucks even like the original. I would assume its not "punk" enough for them.

  • malisimooooooo...

    aguante los ramones..

    no este -.-

  • fantasbulous !

  • so sweeeett! and good fun!

  • I 've always loved this version, i 'm a die hard RMAONES fan (play in carbona Not glue -tribute band). This is a really good reworking of the song. It proves that the RAMONES songs have real depth and soul.

  • I love this version. General Johnson was lead singer with New Orleans group The Showmen ("It Will Stand") and later Detroit's Chairmen of the Board. This song can be found on the album Godchldren of Soul: Anyone Can Join.

  • @brainbats Thanks for the 411. I remember Chairmen of the board. They did "Give me just a little more time." Sounds like this guy may have been the singer. Anyway this is pretty good. I am surprised I haven't heard this one b4.

  • Oww, this makes me really happy^^...joey :))

  • i like this...putos.

  • i like this!

  • Good shit man! This is the shit! Love it!

  • This is pretty good for a cover. One of the few good covers actually.

  • OMFG

  • how odd! what year did this come out? what record? thx

  • ok, to the narrow minded dicks, this is not raping the ramones. joey would say no to this if this sucked. i am a deadbeat die hard ramones fan. fuck, arturo vega is like my demi god! this is pretty good actually. remember punk is not the only type of music out there. this was great. lol thanks gen johnson.

  • joey is god

stfu retarded to say shit to joey.

  • hey, asshole. Joey was really proud of having sung with this guy. Here he showed he loved music of any style, not just rock n'roll. This version kicks ass, and so does joey's performance. GabbaGabbaHey!

  • @israramone666 ramaones are 50s rock and roll 50s rack and roll is black genres of music this isnt cheesie at all , i wish he did easy lover with phil collins
