  • Chaos Theory is by far the best, followed by Pandora Tomorrow and then the original, and then downhill from there. Conviction was fun, but it was basically an action game, not at all in line with what SC is about. If it's too hardcore, find something else to play, or read a strategy guide. Ubisoft shouldn't have to dumb down their games for the masses just cause some people find it too challenging.

  • sick! classic splinter cell stuff thumbs up if you think the splinter cell series is the best games ever along with GTA

  • vielleicht war es doch ein fehler das spiel mit 10 durchzuzocken ich hatte damals alpträume ^^

  • SPOOKY................. I just recently started listening to this again after some chaos theory nostalgia......... Korea.... Oh no.

  • chuck norris checks his closet and under his bed for sam fisher. little does he know sam is clinging to a pipe over head in the dark.

  • In Soviet Korea, music hears you.

  • Perfect song for long plane journeys to distant places.

  • If they ever do make a Splinter Cell movie, don't forget this song in the opening credits. Maybe Thomas Jane as Sam Fisher.

  • @spikedpsycho an denzel washington as lambert haha

  • Damn. So much NOSTALGIA!!!!

  • The ambiance in this track grabs you and doesn't let you go.

  • Great song :D

  • awesome feeling to this song. soo much ambience

  • I feel a strange sensation of listening to it now ... is that what it was, but ... I don `t know how to describe it ....

  • @wyoming289 ????????????????

  • One of my favourite musicians ever, simply for this soundtrack.

I have never found anything like this, and it turns me, the fuck, on. If this is CT's theme, it's the best theme piece ever made, aw man, it's beautiful.

  • @Audi0Phil Dude it wasn't that bad. It definitely wasn't as good as CT, but come on it was fun and for the people who couldn't really get into the hardcore stealth element like you and i can. I will admit the mark and execute was a bit cheap but none the less needed, the stealth system was actually kind of cool, co-op is fun like shit, you can customize weapons, and Sam's story in my opinion was pretty interesting and fun. The only splinter cell i think was crap is Double Agent .

  • @MrJakaah i too think ct is the best and i loved conviction but why do you think da sucks

  • @messier991102 It just didnt have the Splinter Cell feeling to me. Just felt really different. Which is weird because Conviction was pretty different but it was understandable. I really don't know how to explain it otherwise though.

  • @MrJakaah Thats funny I love CT I hated conviction, absolute shit. They shouldnt have called it a splinter cell but that was just a way to lure fans in. DA was more acceptable than Convivction. Hopeflly the new splinter cell they bring back the stealth and spies vs mercs. It's already been confirmed that Sam will be reunited with his Trademark Trident goggles. it's already in the right direction. It's said to be released next year.

  • @Amadeus9933 Like I said. Conviction was for the fans who just didn't always like the stealth element. And i think the only reason other than the one i just said for conviction being the way it was is because sam was no longer a Splinter Cell=no more holding back. So, as for the new game...i don't think you should expect the conviction element to be completely gone. But i think they will find a way to put both back in and make it more enjoyable for both sides of the fans.

  • @MrJakaah "Fans who just didn't always like the stealth element" In chaos theory you were able to choose wether you wouldn't to go through the whole level without killing anybody or kiling everybody, going complete ape shit through the level. It gave you the option before the level started "Stealth" or "Assualt" . Completetly different gameplay. Convicition was just crap plain and simple those "fans" you speak probably weren't loyal fans of the series to begin with

  • @Amadeus9933 While that may be true, its only true at SOME points. If u wanted to go ape shit on one guy thats one thing. Going on against over 3 is not the best idea. People who play this game will mostly go for no alarms sounded without killing one thing. Not kill everything and set off any thing that can possibly get you killed. 2nd, Like i said Conviction was for the ones who didn't like getting their ass kicked if they didnt want to be stealty.

  • @Amadeus9933 Conviction actually gave the chance to be badass and at the same point be stealthy as hell. Don't that the true fans are the ones who didn't like Conviction just because it wasn't CT. And if you had read my other statement then you would know why they did what they did combat wise.

  • @MrJakaah Thats what I am trying to say Conviction was a good game not as a splinter cell game. It's different game. CT DA almost idendical gameplay. Obvisouly no where near CT but I felt they plaid the same. Convition, I appreciated for what it was. It was ok just shouldn't have been called a Splinter Cell.

  • @Amadeus9933 Oh ok. I misunderstood u. I can understand that.

  • @MrJakaah The only problem with Double agent i had was the story was too short i think other than that it was class.best splinter cells out of them all chaos theory an double agent. i recently completed conviction i only bought it the other day im so stupid i never bought conviction when it came out because i love the splinter cell series..im a hardcore fan just like you an Audi0phil. i think after double agent i thought they werent gunna make another one tbh.

  • @MrJakaah Double Agent was amazing! I just hated the mission in the desert that sucked

  • @Audi0Phil Amen to that, maybe i should write a letter to ubisoft if they plan to make another installment just to point out what crap to get rid of and what to improve, cuz i feel like so many people these days just screw up if you dont point them in the right direction like little babies... nevertheless chaos theory is a unique release that will always be special to so many people, and amon tobin has alot to do with the quality of the game...

  • @Audi0Phil supposedly in leaked footage around the web about the next splinter cell you see an image of sam with his goggles and i think is ubi is gonna get back the old sam, thats what i think it isnt yet confirmed cuz the game is in very early stages, see this page: ht tp : //kotaku . com/5800132/leaked-splinter-cell-6-details-point-to-night-vision-goggles-and-nukes-on-the-loose

  • True classic game this is the best theme of the game for sure

  • Chaos theory, the pinnacle of the splinter cell series and ubisofts work.

  • A very unique theme in the whole world of the videogames... I always switch up to this theme when I'm navigating the game's menu

  • up till dawn playing mp on aquarius and deftech. so SO many good memories.

  • @eddieSPECV yessss. :D thats what this piece reminded me of Ahh the greatest of memories.

this is the music you would hear signing into your account to gon on the servers to play the best online expierence ever ScCT Versus mode 2.0..(something out of this world)

  • Getting Amon Tobin to do the soundtrack for Chaos Theory was as good of an idea as it was to have Daft Punk do the soundtrack for TRON.

  • I believe getting Amon Tobin to create the soundtrack was the best possible thing they made.

Not only many people started to listen to AT(people like me), but it gave the game a very rememberable, climatic and well fitting soundtrack

  • It had to be Amon Tobin...he's just the One when it comes to this kind of music.

  • I see myself in an intense gunfight action scene created by John Woo.

Im using cover, blind firing and peeping around the corner.

My enemies are shooting the place up, shit is flying everywhere.

All you can hear is this incredible tune, while watching me take a deep breath.

    Death is not the end...

  • I just noticed that on the cover of the soundtrack there is dripping blood, I thought it was water before...

  • Ah, I remember that time, when I played CT in the midnight and this music was in the background.

  • @1whitebeard ohh that level on the island where you have to stop rockets from launching?

  • this theme remind me good times, good times ......

  • this track certainly ranks among the greatest pieces of OST ever

  • OPness. OP stands for Over Powered. The ness in front of the OP creats a new word. OPness. Thats what this song is. :)

  • Wow, does anyone else hear The Sorcerer's Apprentice right at 1:00? Seriously, for a few seconds, I can't do anything but picture Fantasia. Broom(s) coming back to life...

  • give me the choas theory soundtrack and the nanosuit from crysis and ill be the greatest assassin ever

  • I thought this video was going to show themes for my jailbroken ipod touch :(

  • @infinitykiwi Wow. Cunt. Good comeback. Took you almost a day to come up with that? Not bad, dude. Most of the rage-tastic, irrational peons respond immediately with something lame but I admire your patience in planning a well thought come-back.

  • @infinitykiwi Cool story, bro. U mad?

  • @infinitykiwi

agreed, just check out my review on the hubgames channel for my thoughts on conviction

  • If it isn't stealth anymore then what makes it Splinter Cell? Whatever, 3 will always be amazing.

  • exelent remind pandora tomorow vs espi mercenario like campaning

  • Damn... The first seconds remind me of those days i used to play the VS mode...

  • Loved this Music and pandora tommorow and also i play this gm online FIGUEROA

  • listing to this song brings back so many memories...

  • For me this track is legend! Thank you Amon. Battery brings to me tons of memories. Good old days...

  • Amon can do no wrong. <3

  • Wow.... that opening is like the gods started to speak.

  • @CarpeDiem1Brooks Yeah, it's sooo relaxing!

  • Aaaah I remember when the franchise was all about atmosphere...avoiding conflict and at worst, knocking the occasional stray guard out after an interrogation with otherwise no bloodshed for the entire mission, depending instead on the player's expertise and patience as well as attention to detail and planning.

Yeah Convictions didn't have that... Ubisoft went "Hollywood summer action movie" on our asses. Bastards.

  • Xbox live on this Game was the King.

i wish they'd put this on Xbox Live arcade :(

  • @rare437 It is on the Xbox Classics up for download, but obviously without the multiplayer.

  • @foxbrawl96 which is why they should do to this game what they did to Perfect dark.

    Multiplayer and Upgraded graphics

  • It's Amon Tobin so shut up with your Splinter Cell, it's just music, great music listen ;)

  • 2005 miss those days

  • @thestonecoldandy

Me too... 00-05 was awesome... Then it went downhill in 06 for some reason.

  • 3 people are monumental morons

  • This goes well together with RainyMood. Just make the atmosphere more outdoor and spy-like.

  • Esta música es tan vanguardista... Me encanta *-*

  • Call of Duty menu music is sily. THIS makes you wanna get down to business.

  • 1:59 love that sound

  • @ProductofChina If you mean that little sonar effect sound, I totally agree.

  • Splinter Cell: Chaos theory is the stealth game. ("the" in italics).

  • sikk stuff by Amon Tobin

  • Anyone know any good stealth games like the old splintercells?

  • @ZomgGuitarz1234 The thief series :)

  • This takes me back. I can see myself logging on and finding the perfect match on Polar Base and Deftech Belew. I don't think I'll ever have as much fun with a multiplayer game as I did with chaos theory. Here's to hoping for a worthy successor and a great new year.

  • @themajesticsloth Oh God, the name Deftech brings back some real memories. I miss SC's multiplayer so much. I remember when the demo for CT's online mode came out and I heard this music. Didn't like it at first, but man did it grow on me. Late nights, shooting the shit in the lobby before a match...great stuff.

  • @themajesticsloth omg those were great memories :)

  • Im so glad they are putting together HD versions of the first 3 for the PS3. Thats a must buy for any SC fan.

  • @Scottieonfire does that mean u can download the full games of the first three and play them in hd??? chaos theory on ps3??????? *penis swells to unimaginable proportions*

  • @hasnachos No, Ubisoft is releasing all 3 on a disk. no downloads.

  • @Scottieonfire thats fucken awesome. i love splinter cell with a passion. :D

  • the amount of excitement and fun i had with this game is so much and this music only makes the pain of knowing they will never release another splinter cell like chaos theory is saddening.

  • @canviskiller damn you're right. DAMN I'M SO MAD AT UBISOFT, F*CK

  • Oh my god... this song gives chills... i'm feel soooo nostalgic about the online versus mode on this game. Sooo many hours spent on non-ending nights :'(

Thank you PS2 and Ubisoft for this epic online gameplay... and please bring back the trilogy to PS3... BUT ON DISC, NO DIGITAL CONTENT ! Oh and, screw the ONLY FOR XBOX thing please... -__- You completaly ruined an awesome game streak

  • @MystikalQC So damn true, i remember playing this at any moment i had free time, it is, and always will be, the most amazing piece of software that i have ever "executed".

    Amon Tobin is amazing too!

  • So, they just played this on an Adult Swim bump, and I was like holy shit.

So I came here to listen to it. Man I miss the good old days when Chaos Theory was still alive.

  • For me, best of the Chaos Theory soundtrack, becouse it plays in menu of versus mode.

  • @jestemnoobem +111111 dammnnnnnn I WANT TO TRAVEL BACK IN DAYS TO PLAY CHAOS THEORY ONLINE MODE, ON MY OLD (BUT NOW SOLD) PS2 :'(

DAMNIT, STOP THINKING ABOUT MONEY BUT THINK ABOUT THE LOVE OF VIDEO GAMES, the soundtrack is sooo good on ChaosTheory.. :'()

    NOSTALGIC

  • Why the fuck Would those 3 people THUMBS down this SHIT??!?!!?

  • this reminds me of the versus menu screen.. damn i miss that game

  • @MICHAUDMICHAUD SAME SONG... DAMN I WANT THIS GAME BAAAACK

  • I'm so fucking high and this is tripping me out in the best way possible

  • Warfare...

  • Conviction is fuckin badass. and if you wanna go serious about the series...stop hypin Chaos Theory ffs - the introduction of quick save killed a lot of the old school splinter cell shit. admit it that Pandora Tomorrow remains the killer one of the old ones.

  • @danksch yeah the train level from pandora tommorow just there were too many non-lethal missions

  • amon tobin 4 president

  • For me, the Battery theme IS the best music of this game.

  • Play this next time you are at a stoplight!

  • SCCT Versus Menu Theme Song :) Very Good game best game I ever played

  • @XxNiXoxX signed!!

  • This song contains a sample from the classic number Dukas - The Sorcerers Apprentice. It's starts at 1:02 in Theme from Battery and in the original from Dukas it is at about 6 min. 24. ;) Nice song tho, like it very much.

  • I always thought that this piece sounded a bit sad...almost depressing ...I guess that is what made this game so amazing...they gave a military bunker a depressing atmosphere...thank you Amon Tobin

  • This shit is atmospheric as shit !

    Damnit it is fucking amazing

  • splinter cell is the awsomest game ever

any 1 who says diffrent imma come over there and punch em in da face

  • awesome song!!

  • This is the song i think about when i think about Chaos theory.

  • They went all console on Conviction, like AC2. It seems as if they ported the Xbox version to PC. That's not right, PC versions should be PC versions.

  • conviction is an ok action game but its just not splinter cell its more like a 3rd person shooter thats black and grey 3/4 's of the entire game splinter cell died after double agent R.I.P. splinter cell

  • Is anyone else disturbed at his brilliance, and his track cover designer, the little trickle of blood, quite un nerving lovely.

  • This is like the theme song to my life.

  • I know what you're people talking about, even though I never had Xbox and such a problem like closed server. I'm a PC player, and I can launch server any time I like... but well, I don't want to make you jealous. I'll just give you advice - if you want to play games online, buy a PC version of a game whenever you can (I know that not everyone has a great computer). That's all I can say to you. Hope we'll meet someday on that game online, it's great.

  • chaos theory is the best.

  • For me, this music means ShadowNet vs ARGUS Mercenaries from Multiplayer... BRING BACK SvM !!!!

  • this music is mysterious, dark, self-conscious, paranoid, goosebumps, james bond spy moment, stealthy/sneaky you name it this song is a classic. nuff said.

  • @pintozazz your face fucking sucks man. ur probably just a rubbish gamer

  • @pintozazz You're just jealous because you don't have a 7th generation console to play Conviction.

  • idk wut goes thru amon tobins head, but he really knows how to pick the perfect sounds for the perfect enviroment in the game, but thats only my opinion. R.I.P. classic splinter cell. Ubisoft really needs to re-master those games for the 360.

  • RIP original xbox live, playing spies vs merc will be missed, i always preferred playing you over halo 2 :( you will be missed but not forgotten. Oh the music from the lobby and the memories :/

  • this music gets me in trance.

  • @pintozazz i dont see how people dont like conviction. like yea, theres a lot of changes they've made and they took out SvM, but i dont mind it and accept the way its going and i actually think its good. i've been a fan of splinter cell since the first as well and still think chaos theory was one of the best. i've also been a big fan of tom clancy ever since the first rainbow six and ghost recon and those have changed a shit load since the original. shit changes

  • @DrumNbassN1G it's different but they needed to change the series up a bit. they did a fantastic job with every single game. i enjoyed each and every one.

  • @DrumNbassN1G

Because its shit. Ofcourse the quality of the game rules ... so it does make fun for one or two times.

But the sense of Splinter Cell is what the first part was aiming at. Its all about not beeing noticed. Beeing stealth. Beeing Human. Dont harm anyone if it isnt the only way. Its about searching the most intelligent way to get through the level without beeing noticed or harm anyone.

And Conviction is even without hiding the bodys of the enemies... its like a shooter ...

  • Well goodbye Splinter Cell, great franchise until Conviction, but this is one of my favorate games of all time, ahhh the memories on multiplayer....

  • @DrumNbassN1G

Well, I doubt you've played SvM for nearly as long as me, and my friends who don't like conviction. SvM was the best part of every Splinter Cell Game, it was always a rush to get necks and snipe spies. This song, in fact, plays in the lobby of CT's SvM lobby. But regardless, Conviction's singleplayer and coop are pretty solid, I bought the game, but I enjoy Double Agent more.

  • @DrumNbassN1G I like the direction they're going in, but I think they need to make it a challenge. I've played every single one. In hard and expert difficulty, I still get hung up...but conviction was waaaay too easy...even though I loved every single minute of it....

  • @DrumNbassN1G but the entire concept of splinter cell was to remain hidden, not be seen and accomplish your objectives without conflict. Convictions destroyed that by forcing you to kill in order to advance, removing the concept of "alternate routes" and forcing you down a semi-linear path.

I was a fan up until Double Agent, became a fan because I liked what I played and enjoyed the unique challenge. They took that away in Convictions, but that doesn't mean I still don't play the classics.

  • @shadowmare97 in conviction he's not with third echelon and obviously not a splinter cell anymore, now he doesn't have anymore rules to follow. just because they changed and de-emphasized the concept of stealth doesn't make it a horrible game.

i guess, now ubisoft is just going to keep with the concept of you not being a fan anymore and disappointing you.

  • @DrumNbassN1G I never said it was a "horrible" game, it was okay in its own way. But as I said, the entire franchise was doing a 180, throwing away stealth in favor of run and gun. Like every other game in the industry these days.

Recharging health, dumb enemies, 4 hour campaigns and lots of gunfights do not make a "good" game... And since when would Sam Fisher infiltrate the whitehouse by blowing through the front security and walking in the front door?

  • Loves the intro to this soundtrack =)

  • Oh god, this track is nice, but yet, eery. Such a strange combination of sounds, but nonetheless, nice.

  • I never played Splinter Cell but this track is just fucking amazing ambient music !

  • ...reminds me of sitting and waiting in the lobby for other players. (ps2)

    great theme :)

  • @vowelman lmfao, same!! I forgot to write it in. Lol waiting for people to join the lobby and then changing the map to aquarius. God I miss Splinter Cell Chaos Theory online, Pandora Tomorrow was pretty good too. Too bad they are getting rid of all classic xbox game servers :(((((. Chaos Theory was the best online for a Splinter Cell game! :((( Double Agent online is pretty bad.

  • @dozzaskebab Idk if they also get rid of the game servers on ps2... I still got the game but i sold my memory card, so i'cant join the online game :,(

  • So glad I just found this. Absolutely amazing.

  • @theeuphioquestion sneaky init.

  • love the song, reminded me of good old chaos theory, even though I just discovered amon

  • We need more atmospheric gameing.

  • first time I heard Amon Tobin music was this game and adult swim 'Cujo- cat people' (:

  • Such a beautiful track...

I always think of this when it rains.

    ;D

  • I can't find the Penthouse theme anywhere

  • Sleep with this playing

  • kinda creepy :S

  • @sheemobile i did shit was insane

  • Even tho splinter cell 5 is about to come out next month, i still play splinter cell 3, i lost 2, and i really enjoy the first one. Sometimes i plug in my old xbox, put in sc1, go to the first mission and find a good scenery image and listen to that music. Or one from the "defense ministry" mission. Idk how they do it, but their ambient music is just so beautiful.

  • Exactly what i do. :)

  • I love VG(video game) soundtracks! And they say that video games are a waste of time. Well they're certainly missing out >:D

  • People who say video games are a waste of time are douchebags who thinks they know everything but they dont

  • Exactly. They think that just because SOME people take VG's so seriously they go shoot up a school, (hell, it probably wasnt even the video games) that every game out ther "rotts your brain". Well honestly,it does the exact opposite. Where do people think the music comes from in a game? Or the artwork, or even the storyline? Not retards, but I say geniuses!

  • Amazing Soundtracks.. Amazing Game (On Playstation 2 only).. Amazing Brazilian Artist with so much Intelligent to do with Drum & Bass and Breakbeat Music.. OMFG I Do Love Splinter Cell 3:Chaos Theory.. I always know this game forever..

  • This music is in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Versus Mode in menu 5/5
