the aussies are always a good team at the world championships. good for them, its great they make the travel arrangements to come all the way up to blackpool.
also..nice dish..he left a good angle on his penultimate yellow, and there wasnt much room btween the middle jaws and the red to come through for the last yellow. harder than it looks. good stuff
easy table eh...u might like the centre bags nationalman but i reckon ud hate the corners..u cant belt em in 1 inch away from the pocket like on your tables!
Wow... those are some really loose pockets! That ball that goes into the side pocket at 1:49 would not go on pool tables in the United States. I`d like to try that table out though. Looks easy to play on.
you are probably thinking about 9-ball cut. with the square cut on the middle - they are harder to pot into at an angle - but down the rail = easy as shit!
You speak some bollocks man...the yanks have the slackest pockets in the world, come to the UK and play on out 8 ball tables, that will teach you how to play a real game of pool!
you bloody wanker... I never said YOUR pockets were loose. This is the "AUSTRALIAN" 8 ball championships. Look at the table, for gods sake man, that is one loose bi%ch.
@neillien79 I'm American myself, but I'm inclinded to agree with you. Playing on a 7x3.5 American bar table or even a league standard 9 is nothing compared to snooker tables. 10x5 or even the 12x6 spreads with their triple-shimmed pockets make potting impressive; even more so when played positionally. Advanced players can appreciate the shooter's control of deflection when pockets are barely forgiving. However, we still have shooters like those here in America so the steriotype is void.
y is this a joke? Ive played the guy who was at the table when he was over in england (ben nunan) - very good player. Granted 8-ball tables are different in australia to england etc but the balls still have 2 be potted and taken out.
crowd need to learn to shut the fuck up

Beautiful from Ben. Hard to pot out like that with these small pockets .. unlike the American version with their huge buckets.

As a snooker fan, I love the way that pool players here are complaining about the tightness of the pockets!

@neillien79 American pockets are bigger, but our side pockets don't have the rounded edges on side pockets like yours. Makes quite a difference.

@nimajnebrm your side pockets are bigger too, but they are a lot closer in size to ours rather than the corners.
