Wow. I got a video recorded in Port Aransas, Texas of a sea turtle just devouring a jellyfish. I thought this was common but I feel badass that I got a video of it now.
Well, we'd have to know more details, but I did a bit of reading about sea turtles recently because my son is into them. Anyway, of the several varieties of sea turtles, some are well known to munch on jellyfish, while others were believed to be herbivores. I think it's the green sea turtle specifically that is at issue in this video.

I believe that they had to capture the turtle and bring her on board the boat to clean her shell so the webcam could be attached.
Next thing you know, they will sign up the turtle with a YouTube account.

Wow. I got a video recorded in Port Aransas, Texas of a sea turtle just devouring a jellyfish. I thought this was common but I feel badass that I got a video of it now.

Well, we'd have to know more details, but I did a bit of reading about sea turtles recently because my son is into them. Anyway, of the several varieties of sea turtles, some are well known to munch on jellyfish, while others were believed to be herbivores. I think it's the green sea turtle specifically that is at issue in this video.

This video sparks a few questions. These are just food for thought i guess
1. does the algae die off or shrink when the water gets cold? And if so would the algae be the controlling variable of this species' population?
2. What caused the green turtle to get onto the endangered species list, the algae or man made issues?
To be honest this video raised more questions then it answered. That tends to be the way of these videos though

There is nothing to gain from condemning modern religion. It's not right to criticize people who do not believe too. Religious tolerance is to be important for everyone.
You can believe in evolution and religion at the same time because almost all major religions are very vague. They give you what you need to know, not every detail. Who needs to know how much time passed before Adam was created? Perhaps evolution used a test to create the most powerful organism? There is hardly hard specifics.

i;m waiting on the hard evidence of a missing link of something even close..... no, the Earth is ~4.5 billion years old, i completely agree with that. I don't buy into THEORIES that science cannot even prove.
Why can't I have my religion and science on the same plate? Or are you that narrow minded?

Out of the thousands of years of historical text (biblical or not) There is NO record of any animal "evolving". Man has never seen "evolution". Pretty much every other scientific phenomenon "known" to have happened in prehistoric times, we have been able to witness on one scale or another as humans. There is NO solid scientific PROOF that evolution happens or happened. It's all speculation.

So the same people who take us to space, clone animals, find cures for various illnesses, etc, are wrong about the history of live on earth?
Bible mentions nothing about Dinosaurs or the life that came soon afterwards. Why? The Bible was written BEFORE the first fossils were discovered in the 1800's.
Even though I am an Athiest I have read the bible. Have you ever read up on Evolution to get their point of view or do you just shrug it off without even knowing the their side of the picture?

It doesnt bother me at all. YOu say there is no evidence other then the fact that we know the earth is millions of years old, but you refuse to believe that saying there is no way they can figure that out. They can put a man on the moon but cant date the age of the earth?

I never said anything. You're putting words in my mouth. The earth is billions of years old and that does NOT argue with the bible.
The first verse of the bible states there was an earth age before THIS one. Science agrees.
God RESTORED a destroyed earth in "7 days" which is symbolic for a longer amount of time than 7 actual days.
And we put NO ONE on the moon.
You just believe everything the tv tells you, don't you? LOL
