@baigandine Yeah, "ivre" means drunk but it's a very proper word, of the kind that you can use in real life but also in conventional and even official contexts (like a trial for instance). We French use it but we also have many other words and expressions that mean the same thing. The most common one would be "être bourré", which would mean "to be wasted" in English.
