Did that do any damage to your camera? I got a GoPro as well I'm just concerned about having it on a stick like this especially if your mate is filming and he takes a spill I wouldn't wanna hold him liable for breaking it.
@jarviaus No damage, but it easily could have. Got lucky not to scratch lens on case or broken case. Not to hard or overly expensive to replace a case though.
@FreshAsphalt Either a noob or a troll question, but I will indulge so I can avoid it in the future hopefully. The rider here is 12 years old and under 80 pounds. The bearings have nothing to do with it. Mass does.
@SummitBoarding sorry I didnt know i just started longboarding a couple months ago.. so does this mean that the heavier you are the faster you go? sorry again
@FreshAsphalt that's a general rule of thumb for any kind of downhill racing, whether its with bikes, luge, etc. Aerodynamics (how tight your tuck is) also plays a huge role. But clean bearings, not necessarily extra high quality ones, will offer a very slight speed advantage over bearings that haven't been cleaned for awhile.
@FreshAsphalt He was also dealing with the camera and pole. So he was multitasking. Let me guess, you think ceramic bearings are the best and fastest you can get?
Epic sync! Not only at the end but also out of the suddent the other riders start showing up as the music starts progressing. The camera guy probably had old bearings so he could start alone in his tuck so the other guys could pass him.
Hey, what helmet is that i have a six six one full face mtn bike helmet and i was wondering what visor you put on it and if the helmet looks and feels legit for downhill?
@SummitBoarding oh nice i have somewhat the same one and i am right now using just a pop bottle as my visor lol its temporary i couldnt find any plastic face sheilds at rona or home depot so i dunno
who was the douchebag wearing the tanktop?

TheHelmetCrew 5 months ago
@TheHelmetCrew Its a six six one as well. Legit for safety, the visor is a cut plastic face shield from Lowes. Gets the job done.
