That kit was provided for us. We only brought guitars and effects. All drum tuning was the responsibility of our professional drum tech.

so...I don't think it's possible for the human ear to distinguish intonation of a snare when the camera's recording mic is 200 feet away, and the audio quality is compressed by youtube.

Corporeal already said that the sound is bad due to the compression and recording. Now i may have stretched my opinion to far but after 10 years as a drum tech i know that is not a decent snare sound for this particular song.

Not really, he's actually right...the snare sounds pretty awful. Does you tube effect sound quality? Sure, but any real musician can still tell the snare isn't all that great here.

yeah, I find it is amazingly close to the original theme, and this is done by just 4 people. It sounds a bit better here than it did live though. apparently someone messed up the pitch in between this and the live performance, the violin is a bit louder here.

It was a lot of fun getting the full rock star treatment. Cattering, santa monica beach, wardrobe, segways, and "Live Free or Die Hard". It was quite a trip.

We were discovered on youtube by the company that was doing microsoft's e3 production, Zed Inc.
