@fezzie666 Everyone of these guys is an Icon. old classics like vintage wine only improve with age. Rock on good buddy. You got an ear for great music unlike the average douche bags
This song blows the shit out of the fake bands you get today. Yardbirds invented psychedelia and heavy metal and had 3 guitar gods in their ranks between 63 and 66 beat that!!
@skeletor1993 Asshole, people can listen to whatever they want, they shouldn't stop listening because an ass like you tells them they aren't allowed since it's not their country's music.
is it me or this sounds a little bit proto-metal,because this was recorded before blue cheer "summertime blues" cover. not only that, blue cheer formed the same year this was recorded. its just my opinion but damn they are very influential and great, but underrated
@mrbag60 I can't remember who said it, I'm sure page agreed though, that when they had two lead guitarists it was the least creative period of the band, I can't remember where I saw the interview but i recall that all the yardbirds looking back think that beck and page together was awful they felt like they had no songs, just solos
If you notice my videos, there is a pattern. I make sure to get the correct band line up photos for the song they played on. Since this song had Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page playing guitar in it, all photos came from the Page/Beck era of The Yardbirds. I seen some Yardbirds videos on youtube where it would be a Page era song and some how there is a picture of Clapton in the 1980's in it. I like to show the correct line up in all of my videos.
@68generation I'm glad you liked it. Stroll On was the very first song I ever heard by The Yardbirds. I always go to great distance to find rare photos of the line-up that did the song featured in my videos.
great ! i am born in 66" and the biggest zeppelin /Page/yardbirds fan

Of course, when the Yardbirds folded, Jimmy formed The New Yardbirds who went on to become Led Zeppelin.

Great version of the song. Keith Relf was an amazing singer and harmonica player regardless of having one lung. Fuckin' awesome.

God damn i miss songs like this. A prime example of where Beck and Page could have taken the Yardbirds if Beck hadn't of gone solo.
