@batmessiah It is a straightforward experiment, and it has been demonstrated consistently, and supported through alternate studies. There is a lot of evidence of this sort, in 'scientific journals', and almost nothing directly contradicts it. Actually quantum physics is based on early experiments that found that a conscious observer, has a clear influence on the outcome of physical events at the microscopic level. @zadeh79 I watched "What the bleep do we know" and again, a movie full of pseudo science and very little actual scientific fact. I've read up on this stuff quite a bit, and no, it has no influence at the microscopic level, it is at the quantum level. And the only scientific article I could find relating to random number generators being influenced by thought was proven to be very biased, opposed to all the papers that said it has no influence at all.
@batmessiah The fact that quantum experiments have been performed, and have influenced much scientific thought and understanding, is direct evidence that phenomena at the quantum level, influences the macroscopic scale. And there is two long term/large sample studies, which I can think of, supporting REG effect (by Dean Radin and the PEAR lab), and at least several (independent) others.
@batmessiah I certainly also find that there is little to no scientific verification behind any of these extraordinary claims. I think that quantum mechanics is such a grotesque field that any bizarre notion (especially one with such deep implications toward human beings) won't be difficult to pass off as truth. There is an unavoidable weakness in many people which is a mix between their own desires and the flood of new ideas that videos like this bring about, It's self-deception.

You do not understand QM because you're trying to put it into a group of something that is unknowable. Metaphysics is pseudophysics and you need to learn the methodology of deduction through science. And the general theory of relativity was as accurate as it could have possibly been without his use of QM.

if you can maintain the information in light/energy, you can fit a trillion light years length of light in a dot on a piece of paper. As long as you maintain the information you can have all of the universe, planets etc etc inside that dot also. @hubbzee He is clearly wrong & referring to the vacuum energy within the atom theoretically containing more latent energy in it than all the matter in the visible universe. But he is mistaken, it is the effect of gravity which creates the pressure which in turn is the energy he is looking for & is not in the vacuum space between the potential electron orbit and the nucleus. Nowhere in accelerator experiments do they find more than the amount of energy it takes to move the atoms contained within.

The life force is analogous to the electromotive force in an electrical circuit. Without the EMF, there would be no current and there would be a dead circuit. The life force deep inside each of us keeps our brain up and running which is responsible for blood flow and other bodily controls and operations. The life force is energy. It annoys me when I see students who have studied quantum mechanics or whatever in a classroom trying to act authoratively and dismiss an interesting concept put forward by a professor who has legitimate credentials in related fields, a proven track record and decades of experience in the real world away from the classroom. I am going to relate an event that may or may not be revelant here: Just a few days ago a friend gave me a pamphlet he wanted me to read. I did so and then put it on top of my monitor which is on a table by my bed. The next day he asked about the scrap of folded paper 4" by 10", and it was not there. We searched carefully. Two days later the paper was there in plain sight. I have had the same experience a time or two with hand tools. have others had such experiences?

Take Penrose's Orch-OR for example. He added extra terms to the equations of QM and his conclusion is not that QM can explain it but rather that new science is necessary even beyond that. When someone says the mind is QM in nature, they just mean classical physics is not enough to explain it and the path is through QM.

@batmessiah It is a straightforward experiment, and it has been demonstrated consistently, and supported through alternate studies. There is a lot of evidence of this sort, in 'scientific journals', and almost nothing directly contradicts it. Actually quantum physics is based on early experiments that found that a conscious observer, has a clear influence on the outcome of physical events at the microscopic level. @zadeh79 I watched "What the bleep do we know" and again, a movie full of pseudo science and very little actual scientific fact. I've read up on this stuff quite a bit, and no, it has no influence at the microscopic level, it is at the quantum level. And the only scientific article I could find relating to random number generators being influenced by thought was proven to be very biased, opposed to all the papers that said it has no influence at all.

@batmessiah The fact that quantum experiments have been performed, and have influenced much scientific thought and understanding, is direct evidence that phenomena at the quantum level, influences the macroscopic scale. And there is two long term/large sample studies, which I can think of, supporting REG effect (by Dean Radin and the PEAR lab), and at least several (independent) others.

@batmessiah I certainly also find that there is little to no scientific verification behind any of these extraordinary claims. I think that quantum mechanics is such a grotesque field that any bizarre notion (especially one with such deep implications toward human beings) won't be difficult to pass off as truth. There is an unavoidable weakness in many people which is a mix between their own desires and the flood of new ideas that videos like this bring about, It's self-deception.

If consciousness effects the quantum field, then it must be determined if all entities are capable of influencing the field, if all entities have equal influence of the field, and if all consciousness is individual, or subdivisions of a macroconsciousness...then it must be determined if all units of matter and energy have a level of consciousness. At some point there must be a breakdown in equity, or a disparity between lower levels of consciousness and higher levels; how that effects reality.

if you can maintain the information in light/energy, you can fit a trillion light years length of light in a dot on a piece of paper. As long as you maintain the information you can have all of the universe, planets etc etc inside that dot also. But he is mistaken, it is the effect of gravity which creates the pressure which in turn is the energy he is looking for & is not in the vacuum space between the potential electron orbit and the nucleus. Nowhere in accelerator experiments do they find more than the amount of energy it takes to move the atoms contained within.

I am going to relate an event that may or may not be revelant here: Just a few days ago a friend gave me a pamphlet he wanted me to read. I did so and then put it on top of my monitor which is on a table by my bed. The next day he asked about the scrap of folded paper 4" by 10", and it was not there. We searched carefully. Two days later the paper was there in plain sight. I have had the same experience a time or two with hand tools. have others had such experiences?

@Sogwa What a fool! YOu have no idea what quantum mechanics is. Quantum Mechanics is a theory about the small world and its effects are insignificant and incompatible with the macroscopic world. I guess you have never talked to a physicist or you have never heard of the attempt to unify general theory of relativity with quantum mechanics to describe everything. It's just that folks like you refuse to learn physics and believe everything that a psychology idiot professor tells you to believe.

No I’m no physics but these speakers ARE REAL scientists & physicist!
As for studying physics, I not only have taken classes in it, I've engross myself in MANY scientific documentaries (not just new age ones). Such as that String Theory vid. (l believe NOVA prod. It.)
& even tho stuff on the micro level does not SEEM to effect stuff on this level, it obviously does. For simple gadgets such as microwave ovens, remote control, and GPS all make use of micro level physics.

@Sogwa No, you do not understand what quantum mechanics is. Like I said before, Quantum Mechanics is a theory used to EXPLAIN the behavior of particles. Quantum Mechanics CANNOT be used to describe a brain (even if the brain is made of particles). I am a physics student, I have taken Quantum Mechanics and I know what quantum Mechanics is. Quantum Mechanics is the study of the small as simple as that. YOU CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT APPLY THE IDEAS OF QUANTUM MECHANICS TO MACROSCOPIC OBJECTS.

@bryeinsteinmc2 You're both right and wrong. (quantum joke there :) ) All of these theories which put forth that QM can explain consciousness don't mean it literally. Take Penrose's Orch-OR for example. He added extra terms to the equations of QM and his conclusion is not that QM can explain it but rather that new science is necessary even beyond that. When someone says the mind is QM in nature, they just mean classical physics is not enough to explain it and the path is through QM.

"Mostly empty" would imply substance when we are dealing with information. The universe is an illusion of the senses. Our own body and sense of touch is the grossest (eg pain, sickness, want) and most convincing. As we refine thinking and feeling toward the constructive and positive, eliminating the contrary, the observer affects the environment. I am just on the path, and have been without and with a lot. Both are equally "empty" since I am the existence. We can use this in today's transitions.

Almost no energy is lost to heat. all the two neurons have to do to is take on the same frequency in their atoms, and the electrons will flow freely from one to another as a wave, not a particle. I predict that when a neuron recieves a message via a chemical impulse, it sort of "remembers" the frequency of the particles that sent it in the past. When the same neuron that sent the original fires again, even if it's directed to a different neuron, it will send off a sort of quantum ripple effect from the excited atoms, which spreads in a radius, so that every other neuron that "remembered" that frequency, will begin on that frequency again, making it easier to remember those neurons,

Here's what i understand so far
If two neurons want to send an electric impulse from one to the other, it would have friction. most of the electrons would be lost to heat as they travel through the axons. but if they both share the same quantum entangled state, as in their atoms are oscillating at a similar frequency, (on the order of how many per every 0.0000000000000001ths of a second), the electron will want to make its way to the other neuron, in the shortest distance possible, (continued)

" i dont think people understand just how much information is inside one cell, one human cell contains over 6' of DNA. if this information is not exact then you do not get the desired result (life) at the very least we have to ask what is more believable? i have never seen an example of spontaneous life. I'm always (mistakenly) disassociating myself from my personal point of view & perceiving reality--externally--from many perspectives. The neurons of brain create these two levels
So, that means consciousness and subconsciousness from physical point of view ( as interaction between billions and billions neurons ) It can only mean that the states of neurons in these two situations are different
