thank you for the tutorial :) i think the reason why your tattoos come out so weird is because i didnt see you pay attention to all the parts that needed to be erased. also i dont see the point in opening the same picture again and again. you can simply duplicate that layer and move it to where u want it. i think it was to early for you to make this tutorial.you needa learn more about gimp first.

Ok, so then it's the same as when I search google images for tattoo designs. I have a bad habit of not going past the first page or two ;-) Your tutorial is good though! I'm still much a newbie to photoshop, and I've been doing pretty good with front and back tats, but I'm having some serious issues lining up armbands. I don't suppose you could do another tut on lining up armbands with detail? I would appreciate it!

My biggest problem is just getting textures (tats or clothing) to line up properly on the arms. Arm wrap tats and sleeves just won't line up properly, and from what I've seen on other people's templates, you don't actually do a straight line across... I just haven't found a tut on it yet :(
