@bobsagetbillgates Most M44 at gun show;s are uncommon sadly nowaday's the only one's you will likely to find are m91/30's. The rarest mosins to find are the M38's. CAI hassent been importing them in the last 1 year due to the weapond importaion restriction's and high tax on them.

@A1972LS5MAN Really that wasnt a bad deal. The Fin M91's have really gone up in price lately. WASR-10's are the most common and can be found annywere but a Fin 91/30 cant and if you do yull pay the price to get one.

you must go through a lot of 7.62x54r. I guess it could be worse considering that it's dirt cheap. Everything (In the Bangor, Maine area) is getting impossible to get, even .22LR, except for 7.62x54. If you try and find any 7.62x39, forget about it. I think I'm going to buy a Mosin-Nagant and a couple crates of ammo just to economize. And a Nagant revolver.

Most I got from JG sales for mosin's. But the best is gun shows but you have to look for there prices some people at gun shows jack up the price 2 to 3 times from what they paid for it or even its value.

A good deal of WASR-10's take dual stack mags these days, but I hear that they hold them poorly (the mag well was basically ground out to hold dual stack ones.).

I have heard that Polish AK-47's are of good quality, but I do not see them much and they are a bit spendy ($800 or so.).

I would guess that a used SAR-1 or a Yugoslav AK would probably be the most affordable and still give good quality.

I need an M91/30 sniper, but car payments have cleaned me out. :(

Sadly no is a romainian clone WASR-10 clone. Its a military training AK for new recrutes. Its sadly is a single stack. Im going to sell it. Ow and this was shot in July. I now have 3 more mosin m91/30 sniper Pu and soon if I play my cards right a PE.

AK-103's are very very good, there is a licensed manufacturer of them in the US they make them exactly the same way as the russians make them, someone on youtube has one, just search AK-103 and snd them a message

I own a Romanian SAR-1, which is a discontinued model. Unlike its successor, the WASR-10, it is of higher quality and takes dual stack magazines, such as the 30 round one. It lacks a slant brake, but it is still a good gun.

I got my SAR-1 for $389 two years ago, but they have skyrocketed to $600+ from what I have seen these days.

Bulgarian AK's are said to be the best, but they cost a fortune ($1K+). Yugoslav ones are said to be excellent, but they lack a chrome lined bore ($650-$700.).

You should add a 8mm Mauser to your collection. I saw a few clones at a gun show for around 250 dollars.

Yes it is a chezk Mauser made in 1936 by bruno arms factory in Chezkoslavokia. Its the same type of action ar the k98 but the bolts not bent. It looks like a m24/47 but with a different sight hood. Not a cover wagon sight hod more like an open top w style. Dosent contract much light and dosent trap it in.

Well when you see the bolt on a mosin or a clone m24/47 they have a T bolt style. There bolt is just straight. The Lee Enfield n4mk1 and Mauser K-98 have a bent bolt that means its been bent down

So how mcuh did all that cost you, from what i know Mauisn Nagants are really cheap goody rifles (i know someone who paid less then 30edollars for his, if u say in American dollars, but he bough it in Russia). The m1 carbine arent that bad, cause round in Uk they cost rougly £200 quid but again depends on condition, age and history. The Kalashnkiov clone looks cheap, so how mcuh was it?

The M1 Carbine is a Underwood from June 1st 1944, C.M.P. Match Grade 1 Collectors Grade 1 worth 800.00 U.S. Stock is its origonal but it had a P1 sight added on it in 1950 For the Korean War.

I just love the liegigth M1 carbin with its little .30 carbine catriges. From what i heard thier lack of stoppin power and effective range is jsut over 100 meters on human targets (but u not going to shoot at that i hope, lol). Do you ahve and M1A1 version with foldout stock?
