  • terrorist video??? hahahaha

  • my sister lives in london and has SAD. i think it's bullshit too.

apparently she bought a LAMP that works like sunlight or something. you should look into that.

  • sunny affect disorder. yay boo

  • wait til like december 1 for the christmas tree!

  • that hoodie makes you look like little red riding hood.

  • it's like the sun didn't even come up today, the sky's been grey all day :(

  • Comment removed

  • when are we gonna meet kitty? lol

  • try living in alaska, some days there is no sun D: THATS deppressing. but i suppose the summer makes up for it, i could tan at midnight

  • It's not that they're upset about the weather, they're affected by it.

You're obviously allowed to have your own opinion but you shouldn't call it stupid, it's offensive to people to do have it.

I'm so excited to watch ANTM! I had to work last night but I'm going to see it tonight :D

  • it's worse if you go to work when it's dark, and when you leave work, it's light....

  • i'm actually liking this shit weather the UK is having atm :) it was a warm breeze today with a light spatter of rain, it was nice LMAO

i'm gona watch the ANTM final tonight xD SO SO SO excited i want nicole to win, even though they're both amazing! OMG i've just realised laura was always shit on catwalk D: OH NO!

what was with the B&W-grain? are we in the 80's? LMAO xD

    <3

  • Michigan has the worst winters.. so, it's a good thing you don't get SAD.

  • oh hell no don't put up your tree yet

i would wait until at least December 1st lol

i love decorating for christmas though, i'm really excited

  • YES IT IS TO EARLY FOR THE TREE!! Christmas doesn't start until after thanksgiving!

  • I don't believe in sad either =P

  • for anyone who doesn't understand S.A.D. hasn't been depressed themselves. It's not something you have to "believe in" to suffer from it.

  • lol S.A.D. isn't real. Silly Silly

  • ......if S.A.D exists, it exists...lol, kindof offensive, come on :P

  • So when do we get to meet your boyfriend? People donated money and we have yet to see him!

  • Seasonal affected disorder really only effects people that move from warm climates to cold climates. They don't know how to cope with winter and it makes them depressed or something like that. Thank you psych 101.

  • i really want to put up my christmas tree too, but i have a rule. never put up your christmas tree before thanksgiving. It is just not right to neglect a holiday. Thats why i put it up the day after.

  • its never too early for a christmas tree!

  • NEVER too early to put up a Christmas tree! Never. :D

  • I agree. It's stupid, but I have it :(

  • haha. you people took the whole SAD thing way too seriously. It's just a youtube video. If you don't like it then don't watch it. Simple as that. It's just his opinion and it's his VLOG. Don't let other's opinions affect you.

  • aww poor Korey

i sleep like 8 hours a night but i just want to sleep more i'm sooooooooo tired =[

  • Awesome video Korey, but tbh I wouldn't use that video effect in future vids, cuz we all want to see your cute face lol

  • korey, I'm gonna start calling you Koober and I hope it's OK 'cause I'm gonna do it.

  • Hay wait... I want to hear those two minutes that you cut out of the video.

    ◄=0)xxx

  • Haha! You can't choose the type of depression you suffer from... your understanding of depression is clearly limited... but i'll let you away with it cos you're funny!

  • i'm happier on overcast days. go figure.

  • its a real thing me old best friend had it and it used to totally screw up our friendship lol we were seasonal bestys haha

  • i think that disorder is real because i'm a real bitch while we have this decrease in sunlight that combined with all the gloomy days in sw ohio makes me almost homicidal ....lol ....and it's never too early to put up your christmas tree ... i left mine up 2 years ago until july ( and turned on the lights at night and all day on my b-day in may) ....only reason i took it down was that i moved to new place .....lol

  • hmm ignorant or blissfully unaware..

New studies suggest that the lack of sunlight in the winter months, causing less vitamin D3 to be produced in your skin, actually effect your mood. Giving you a much higher tendency to get depressed.

Yes you're right that something has to trigger it, but what you call stupid is actually scientific fact.

  • I don't know if it's a real disorder, not even gunna lie, but what I do know is just because you yourself aren't effected by the shitty weather doesn't mean other aren't as well. I think a perfect example is how a beautiful day can really open ones mind, why can't an ugly gloomy day do the opposite?

    Shame on you Tuesday..

  • Geez after watching this I kind of wish I could un-sub to Tuesdays. This was not cute.

  • I actually get sad when the days get shorter. it makes me think like..i spend all my life at work having NO fun.

good for you if you don't.

  • I do that all the time! I'll just be talking and then I'll be like "wait, this is stupid"

  • a tangent is a straight line or plane that touches a curve or curved surface at a point but does not intersect it at that point.

    you mean a tyrant?

  • show your kitty!!!

  • Just because you do not have it doesnt mean other people dont. I am sorry, but I found that very offensive. Being someone raised by two parents who worked in the medical field for twenty five years, I think that is very ignorant to call it stupid

  • You were kinda rude in this video.... it made me laugh.

  • SAD is a legitimate medical illness. And it has a strong impact on some people.

  • I agree. It is scientifically proven that staying in bed in a dark room does not lift depression.

  • Even little things in life, such as laughter, chocolate, friends, etc lift depression.

  • I get stressed out with the weather here in Brazil all the time, almost everyday..... because it's always too hot, annoyingly hot!!! and the sun!...ohh, how do I hate the sun!! :P

you would hate it too if you lived here...I sweat all day long. :(

  • Put up the tree!!! :D Never too early!

  • No, no it IS real! I live in Shetland, and it's always, always dark at this time of year. It's a totally subconscious thing, but a lot of people up here get clinically depressed in the winter.

  • haha Korey, saying you don't believe in Seasonal Affective Disorder is like saying you don't believe in gravity. It exists, lack of exposure to sunlight gives you low levels of serotonin in the brain. Low serotonin levels make you depressed.

  • looking through the comments I realized that I'm like the 321,973th person to explain this to you. Sorry!

  • Anytime after thanksgiving is a good time to put up a Christmas tree

  • Again you fail to make me like you, it is real, how ignorant.

  • S.A.D. is all in whoever says they're suffering from it's head. Get over it. There doesn't have to be a disease or a name for something everytime. Or just because someone gets cranky because it's not as sunny aanymore.

  • Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder is real! Some people are particularly sensitive to the amount daylight that they're exposed to, and when the amount of light exposure reduces, their Circadian Rhythms suffer and hormones and endorphins are released irregularly, causing symptoms of depression and fatigue.

  • SAD is a real disorder and I thought it was total BS until I met a new friend who suffered from it and she explained it to me with all the medically terms.

Also my roommates and I put up our Christmas tree this past weekend. It wasn't my choice but now that it's there I think it's cute.

  • hah Korey I really like ya but you clearly have no idea what SAD is: "way more important things to be depressed about than the weather." It's not being depressed about the weather, it's a condition that occurs when you don't get as much exposure to sunlight (aka winter, you don't go outside as much and daylight hours are shorter)...lack of sunlight causes a drop in serotonin levels...most clinical depression is linked to low levels of serotonin.

  • I don't believe in the weather disorder thingy either! I actually really like fall, even the grey and cold part of it. :)

  • Seriously, PUT UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE! We can team up, Korey, because Christmas does NOT start the 1st of Dec. The other just don't know ;)

  • I get SAD.

But mine comes once a month.

    :D

  • SAD is real. Its a fact. People just like to say they have it even if they really don't to make excuses for their shitty behavior

  • Since you wont change your mind about SAD, I won't be too long about my experience. I lived in Utah, and in itself is "sad" but every day for the winter it was gloomy and I hated it. Now i live in AZ. Yay! And I totally want to put my christmas tree up now too! But I don't have a xmas tree yet to put up.

  • I already have my Christmas tree up. And all of my Christmas decorations. I will be gone for 2 weeks at Thanksgiving and 11 days at Christmas so there's really no point in waiting. I say if there are Christmas songs on the radio and Christmas shopping commercials, putting the tree up is free game. Seriously..do it! :)

  • Where I live, we have a few winter months where the sun comes up after most people are at work and sets before most people get off work. Some people purchase a very powerful spectrum light and sit with the light on for about an hour a day. They claim it really makes a big difference for SAD.

  • i wanna put up my christmas tree but my mum wont let me! :(

  • SAD does exist. I don't say, "I'm not gay so gay people don't exist."

  • so who's birthday was yesterday 11/17??

  • Sorry... SAD does indeed exist :) Just because there are other possible causes too doesn't mean this one isn't real. It's to do with reduced sunlight, which leads to reduced levels of the neurotransmitter serotonin in your body, which is a big factor in depression. This is probably why SAD, depression and suicide rates are far higher in northern lattitudes, especially places so far north that there are just a couple of hours of daylight a day in winter, or even no daylight at all.

  • booh to SAD - it is! i have it! wait until you need to take anti-depressants!

  • Just a note, SAD is not being depressed because its dark out, its a depression caused by vitamin D deficiency easily remedied by getting your ass outside :o) I can be sassy about it, I have it ;o)

  • my dad's birthday was 11.17

    random title or strange coincidence??

  • My roomate and I are putting up the tree tomorrow, so no... it's not too early.

  • i really really really don't want laura to win

  • Ironically, my birthday was yesterday, 11/17. And despite the name of your vid, I didn't hear a Bday message. I was so hopeful too... :(

  • we share the same b-day!!!

  • i passed a whole block of houses with christmas lights up tonight, it's not too early for a tree!

    (it's never too early)

  • I don't think its too early to put up the christmas tree and i was tyring to convice my family on sunday that we should put ours up, but they said it was too early to put it up anytime before thanksgiving. so ugh. we have to wait till next week i guess..

  • It's too early!!! In Belgium we first have Sinterklaas (December 6th - weird holiday) so we can only put up our tree AFTER Sinterklaas... It's just not normal for Belgians to put up their Christmas tree this early. It would be really nice though. I love Xmas ^_^ Love!

  • love the lamp. you should have others who have the same lamp submit videos of their lamps and make a comp of em. lol. SOOOO JUST KIDDIN. lol

  • its true I have depressed moments or days during the good weather but I'm depressed through all of the late fall and winter.

  • seasonal effect is stupid...I love gloomy days...a person can be having a bad or depressed day during a sunny day...so why can't a person be their happiest on gloomy days?

  • I tried to convince my roommate to put up the Christmas tree the other day. I was denied. Apparently there is some unwritten rule stating that if you put your tree up before Thanksgiving, you're a loser. What a whore.

  • i just love you.

thats all i have to say.

  • it's true though.. i get really depressed during winter cause it's cold and everything is dead!

  • yes. it's too early to put up the christmas tree.

  • I lived with someone who would get depressed during summer ! its pretty true

  • MORE PEACH VIDEOS!!!!

and yes! Let thanksgiving come and then you can put the damn tree up. Why does everyone want to rush Christmas? impatient people!?!

  • MORE PEACH VIDEOS

  • So I do know the difference between you and Stevie, but with this camera effect, you looked exactly like Stevie at the end

  • This video effect impeded my ability to see your BEAUTIFUL face.

    You are the cutest.

  • What's the deal w/the camera this week? I can't be the only one that thinks Korey's going to grow up/old into the non-Jewish version of Issac Mizarahi.

  • it's too early boo for the tree. I have a question Corey for you. Is it to early to send Christmas cards? If so when is the appropriate time?

  • so your ignorant? thats great.

  • you're*

  • My friend has SAD. It's one of those things that's not rational, but it does exist.

    Put up your tree!

  • i don't beleive in S.A.D. either. mainly because i'm extremely happy during winter.

and i don't think it's too early to put up a christmas tree because we have ours up. but that's because we'll be three states away in our hometown on thanksgiving, which is when we put the tree up.

but i mean, it's never too early to spread the christmas spirit! (okay, there's a line as to when you can do that, but i wanted to sound cliche' :D)

  • Not everyone gets SAD -do you also not believe in schizophrenia just because you don't happen to have it yourself? It has to do with sunlight (people living far north where there are few/no daylight hours in winter get it most) and with your own natural production levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects your mood. Everyone's levels drop when they catch less sun, and if they aren't that high to begin with or there is (almost) no sun where you are in winter, it can cause depression.

  • i fully understand it has to do with sunlight. thank you for setting me straight on that issue. however, i never said that the fact that i don't get it is the ONLY reason i don't believe in it . i never meant to offend you (that is, if i even did in the first place) by making that comment and i never meant to imply what you said in your first sentence.

  • I thought you were going to say Happy Birthday to Adi (missbananacheeks), since you tweeted it, and the title of the video is Happy Birthday... but not once was a birthday mentioned... so I'm confused. haha oh wellz.

    *flees*

  • Real tree? Too early: Gonna burn the house down.

Fake tree: 24/7/365, baby, especially if it's silver like ours.

  • you don't believe in sad?

i don't believe in germs. think about it. . . have you ever seen one? i didn't think so.

    ps. . . who's birthday?

  • YES it's too early

  • it has been said already, but S.A.D. is real it's a Vitamin deficiency (mainly vitamin D) caused by lack of needed amounts of sunlight, it is also very easy to cure, by taking vitamin supplements, and exposing yourself to other essential vitamin sources, i.e. natural light lamps.

  • I just noticed that you still have baby fat. That is what makes you so sweet. My niece told me several times and I did not agree...but now I see... You are a baby.

    Thanks buddy.

    LEX

  • SAD? i dont believe in it either! probably because i live in a place with no seasons. but it still gets dark!

  • 2:05 - End.

    You're psycho.

    It's perfect.

  • LMAO.

Do you also not believe in cancer?

I kid. It just sounded funny.

  • why are people putting up christmas trees already??!! its the middle of november!!!

  • It's real, trust me.

    Sun lamps work wonders.

And I really want to put up my christmas tree too, but everyone keeps saying it's way too early.

  • Well have I got a story for you.

I was all poo poo on this SAD business, and then a week ago I bought some of those special lightbulbs for "natural light indoors" and I honestly think they are working wonders.

    Yupp. That was my story.

  • It's never too early to put up your Christmas tree! Unless of course you put it up in like february, but then I guess it would be more late than early....

  • hell no! my housemates and i put up the christmas tree 2 weeks ago!

  • In fact, it's a lot like saying (as many people do), "I don't believe in homosexuality. Get over it."

  • that is so not the same thing.

  • Wait... So whose birthday is it?

  • lol, when you talk about things that won't make it in the video! haha yes.

  • seasonal depression?

  • its my bday today! woot! and the last post korey did was title vietnamese! and im vietnamese and live in MI. things are getting weird :)

  • love you and all but.

saying "get over" about an actual problem , or saying that you dont believe in it? is pretty much the same as saying "i dont BELIEVE in the flu"

case in point: it's a dumb statement.

coming from a usually intelligent person?

  • do it

  • i <3 u corey.

  • SAD is for dumbasses

  • Comment removed

  • " I don't believe in sad" - amazing

  • haha, to put it simply, SAD is lack of vitamin D because the sun is out less. sympathize dude, people can't help it.

  • You should see my neighbors the day after halloween there house was crazy decorated with christmas decorations... the tacky kind too. but at least now it's okay to start putting things up.

btw your video fell on the perfect day this week! just sayin! :)

  • Go ahead and throw up that tree it's not too soon. All the stores have their Christmas displays up anyway

  • well you knew it was coming so lol. well it isnt just that you get sad cause of the weather. It is because the sun is out less so you have less of a specific chemical which aids in increasing endorphine levels(which makes you happy) so yeah. but obviously it isnt an end all be all and i love winter and get happier....me and the sun have a beef

  • i want more peach!!!

  • meow!

  • happy birthday shoot pearl i hope for the best yay

  • Hey I know this guy from Michigan and he likes my sister.

    Isn't that awful?

  • Not sure why you titled this happy birthday so Im pretending you were meaning it for me bc it is my birthday. Thanks

  • My birthday was yesterday, so I'll pretend it counts for me too :D

  • Oh Korey your so thoughtful!

  • I just cracked up when you said "seasonal affectedness disorder...you know SAD."

  • Have you played new super mario brothers wii yet!!? Its sooo much fun you and tyler need to play it!

  • Nice background lol

  • It is not too early for a christmas tree!!

  • SAD IS REAL GAHHHHSKDLAJKHF! RUFFF

  • HEY. you never did that video of your boyfriend... people donated money for that. whats the deal?

  • Go ahead and put up your Christmas tree. I just spent all weekend decorating my family's house. Yes, that means the outside. It's never too early for CHRISTMAS!

  • So... I'm gonna have to be one of those people that says SAD is very very real. haha. You get vitamin D from sunlight, with out it you produce less serotonin, thus making you less happy. In most cases it can be combated with light therapy, which i'm pretty sure is similar to tanning bulbs. And mild cases can usually be resolved by the endorphins you get from exercising.

And with that little fun fact I'm going to admit I like psychology a little too much. haha

  • you need to show us your kitty since it's always around when you make your videos

  • I can't remember you ever showing us your pusspuss.

    Whip that bitch out!

  • Silly. SAD doesn't mean you're sad about the weather, it means that the lack of sun affects how your body processes different things and in turn happens to affect your mood. Taking a Vitamin D pill should get rid of mild cases. Yesyesyes.

  • nice vid.

  • Just because you don't believe in SAD doesn't make it not real.

SAD is not about being depressed over the weather. Its likely caused by a lack of serotonin or melatonin which may be a direct effect of lack of sunlight.

  • I really hope that's a belated birthday wish to me since you missed mine last week, ass.

  • It's never too early for the christmas tree. Ever.

  • Did you support Tom Cruise against Brooke Shields?

  • it is i had it winter quarter

  • So you talked for 2 minutes about stuff that didn't make the video, but you meowing at your cat made it into the video??

  • If you put up a tree this early you have to decorate it with turkey

  • Uh-huh, I'd like to see you spend a winter in northern Alaska and then say that SAD isn't real.

  • Loved this video. Mainly for its appeal. And the storytelling. You're just adorable.

    =]

  • it's never to early for a christmas tree ! loveed it

  • What is up with the video quality?

  • ahh i always try to get my friends to play boardgames with me but theyd rather do "age appropriate activities". ugh, those little shits.

  • OMG COREY!! You're so adorable.

  • perfect: *Korey. :)

  • *Feels stupid*

  • "We played board games" haha that made me laugh

  • fuzzzyyyy
