This may be a dumb question but.... How do you know if you have an A harmonica, C Harmonica, ect? Whats the difference? And how many are there? Whats the best one?

@Tyler3594 there are different "Keys" for Diatonic harmonicas. (the other major kind is chromatic, with a button).. You get "chords" by hitting 3ish notes at once, and the way they're set up, you get more "chords" for playing along with a guitar song in "E" with an "A" harmonica. Look up 'cross' harp, or playing in different positions. There are 12 main keys, but other special keys as well.

Everybody needs an "A" harp. Many if not most blues are commonly in the key of "E" on the guitar but harp is played in the "cross" position of A. G is a C harp, C is an F harp, F is a Bflat harp, etc. But the A harp is a fairly low key and easier to bend and play. Bflat is the lowest and really growls! BLOW YO FACE OFF!

You are very entertaining. I have owned some harps for several years, and they sit in my case. Your videos have my trying to use them. I play music for a living and harp would really make it more fun. I do have one question. I am having a hard time hitting just one note I hit like two or more. That is why I got more out of this video because you are supposed to hit more than one. Do I have a misshaped mouth or do I just need to practice more?

Hola! Don't worry about the circular breathing at all!! That is not essential to the harmonica, it is just a tangential topic that you can learn.

Hands are important, but I think that tone and breathing is more important. work on getting single notes, and chords, and melodies... after you start being more expressive, you can incorperate your hands more. to bend and waver and time notes.
