@Bermudacake: No, I don't think so. Before seeing his only son being tortured by the Emperor, Vader couldn't bring himself to killing his master. Vader was stronger, no doubt. But his master had control over his mind (well, sorta).

From the very beginning -after learning the ways of the sith-Vader have planned the Emperor's murder -but after gaining his terrible injuries on Mustafar he thought he couldn't anymore do so- but that i cannot say if Vader ever considered to kill the Emperor with Starkiller- well he says himself no to that- perhaps he underestimated the powers of his apprentice...

Damn... Poor kid.
I don't know much about Star Wars, but after seeing the game, Vader and the emperor had it all planned from the very beginning.
But Vader still wants to throw out the emperor and control the galaxy, right? Just not with the Apprentice. All of it was just a ruse.
Damn, I need to get into Star Wars. D: This mess is interesting.
