I wanted a Voltron for my birthday gift (I initially thought there was only one Voltron, the lion one), then my dad gave me a Vehicle Voltron set, I was pissed but then it began to grew on me. Unfortunately, my Vehicle Voltron crumbled to pieces and were nowhere to find now, the heart and soul of my beloved Vehicle Voltron now lies in simply the Toynami Robot Vinyl figure, the DX Dairugger XV won't work on me.

Japanese's popy golion is the best voltron toy ever. It has tons of weapons and accessories and the lions have a lot of cool features. Trenmaster voltron and bootleg lionbot are just another re-issues from popy but they are nothing compared to popy voltron (golion)

I found the exact voltron you have in some small mart called TOY ANXIETY in my area and he was only 47 dollars! He wasn't in too bad condition, only this Voltron was the actual die cast Voltron that match box produced in '81. I think the only thing that could be better than that voltron is the masterpiece diecast one or that 20 inch light up eyes voltron from trendmasters. all i know is that i got a good deal.

I see they have a lot of curious changes compared to the original which I had. The cannon on the yellow Lion didn't pitch up and down, only raised. Don't know on the missile as I never had the weapons for him (assuming parents ditched em due to me being very young). The Blue Head thingy had a hole in front, but didn't see it on this one. The arms have these fins on their butts which is new. Also the Voltron head is black in stead of blue.
