  • **if I had sparked a dying flame* *all of those clinging chains have gone* *you step from me)

  • @BeatsByPeach

    thanks!

  • CLIFFYY!

  • Watched these guys many times at the 'Spurs' pub and knew micky stubbs(lead singer) fairly well. Fantastic songwriter !!!

  • another great song from a great band that was overlooked by a fickle record buying public.

  • Brilliant band, have all 3 albums on iPod. Someone on here mentioned a facebook page, anyone got a link to it.

  • A very underrated band, I saw them live 72/73but cant recall who they were supporting. For some reason I think it was Argent bur probably wrong. My fave album of theirs was the self titled Home. I still have all 3 on vinyl and a couple of yeats ago got a live album

Mick stubbs was a great writer and dont forget Laurie Wisefield a great guitarist who later joined Wishbone Ash/

    A great band

  • yes I did...with some bonus tracks...will be speaking to the distributor as the family do not have a copy of Hayward Town. :))

  • They were a great band, shame that they weren't bigger. Sadly, lead singer/songwriter Mick Stubbs and the drummer Mick Cook have passed away forgotten.

  • @serjanus Never forgotten :)))

  • I had their first album just called HOME. I would like to hear it again but can only find it quite expensively on Amazon. But as it turned out the album is a fake compilation of several artists. None of which is HOME.

  • @copstolemywife there is a double album Home/Pause for a Hoarse Horse on amazon...not expensive

  • @copstolemywife - Home is the second album - the first album is Pause for a hause horse.

  • could anone please email me copies of pause for a hoarse horse, the alchemist and home?????

  • More Home please :)

  • So glad to see this posted. "Pause..." is by far my favorite album by Home, I think it's much better than the overrated The Alchemist. Leadoff track "Tramp" is just wonderful and it doesn't flad for a moment.

  • please where can i found this lyrics thanks you i search for a long long time but impossible

  • I posted some lyrics, what I can understand, it's not complete.

  • HOME is an increbible band!

Pause for a Hoarse Horse and the follow-up self-titled album HOME are masterpieces.

I still have not heard the next album THE ALCHEMIST. Can't find it anywhere.

This is the band that started AC/DC's Ciff Williams. His bass play is amazing in this band. You need to check the whole CD out.

Please put up more HOME and educate AC/DC fans.

  • I HAVE THE ALCHEMIST CD if want a copy

  • if you could email mp3s or something that would be amazing.

  • Any chance of doing me a copy of The Alchemist on CD,please, please, please, you would make an old man very happy!

  • @moddymit send me your details will send you a copy..bevstubbs@hotmail.co.uk :))
