A very underrated band, I saw them live 72/73but cant recall who they were supporting. For some reason I think it was Argent bur probably wrong. My fave album of theirs was the self titled Home. I still have all 3 on vinyl and a couple of yeats ago got a live album
Mick stubbs was a great writer and dont forget Laurie Wisefield a great guitarist who later joined Wishbone Ash/
@bluerondo67 hello young stubbs. i am an old friend of liam byrne. we were round your house loads as teenagers. i didnt know nbout dad till recently as i have lived in ireland for a good while. is fran ok? she wont remember me all i recall is the mad dog (dalmation?) all this brought back such memories. cliff falling over at acollege in regents park comes to mind. is there any music available would love to hear home on my i pod, regards tim cronin co mayo ireland
They were a great band, shame that they weren't bigger. Sadly, lead singer/songwriter Mick Stubbs and the drummer Mick Cook have passed away forgotten.
I had their first album just called HOME. I would like to hear it again but can only find it quite expensively on Amazon. But as it turned out the album is a fake compilation of several artists. None of which is HOME.
So glad to see this posted. "Pause..." is by far my favorite album by Home, I think it's much better than the overrated The Alchemist. Leadoff track "Tramp" is just wonderful and it doesn't flad for a moment.

another great song from a great band that was overlooked by a fickle record buying public.

HOME is an increbible band!
Pause for a Hoarse Horse and the follow-up self-titled album HOME are masterpieces.
I still have not heard the next album THE ALCHEMIST. Can't find it anywhere.
This is the band that started AC/DC's Ciff Williams. His bass play is amazing in this band. You need to check the whole CD out.
Please put up more HOME and educate AC/DC fans.
