this is something i want to see in my lifetime...what is kennedy space center? also do they ever launch in california?

Kennedy Space Center is where they launch from here in Florida. The do launch rockets from California but not the shuttle. There are only 4 more launches of the Shuttle left now. Last one is scheduled for 16 Sep 2010.

We are about 124 miles from Kennedy Space Center - unfortunately no sound gets this far. Still looked great climbing over the crescent moon.
