Styx - A.D. 1928/Rockin' The Paradise

I bought this album when it first came out. Was a Styx fan in the late 70's and this was the last album of theirs that I bought.

The album is a theme/sequel concept. A looking back of yesteryear's roaring 20's and of course it's stories unfolding-The Best Of Times-and the final chapter coming to it's end-A.D. 1958. One of the very best musical compostitions to have come out. Was at the concert for their Paradise Theatre Tour in 1981. Awesome! Anyone else at any of their concerts that year? :-) Cheers everyone!

I didn't like Styx at first. I loved "Renegade" and their older songs. My mom urged me to listen to "Babe" and "Suite madame Blue" so I re listened to EVERY Styx song and realized I do like them. This is one of my favorite albums of theirs.

@proudlyrushian On the back of this album, it shows the back of the Paradise Theater instead of the front, and there is a sign that says "Sparky the Flying Dog" that is what Dennis is referring to when he yells "Go Sparky Go"
