Fun for watching while you are having fun with friends, in a dark room, with pizza! :) Scary Yea...but also lots of fun you will get from this. I like effects, those crazy sounds, it made me feel I am going to run away from the room, my friends laughed me.. I am joking, it is not to scary, but for me was..:-) Try to watch this if you are not a jackaas..hahaha..Watch this on freecartoons..You are just gonna love this!

In Singapore , they had just broadcasted the entire movie for the first installation of the Arthur and the minimoys ( 1st Movie ) on 24th September 2010 on the local Channel. 5.

Singapore - used the European Version - which means , it includes the kissing scenes and how Arthur in minimoy formed , hugged Princess Selenia , when they were sleeping in the flower.

I prefer the European Version than the Weinstein American Version.

This is a Brilliant movie and I could watch it over and over again. As long as the movie isn't the edited one, because the edited one was quite literally butchered.

But to answer some questions...the scenes were "edited" because a OLD WOMAN (madonna..ugh) "played" the role of Selenia and a YOUNG BOY "played" Arthur. So the editors thought it would be misunderstood if they fall in love and marry trough a kiss..yes thats what really hapened

Absolutely idiotic and completely ruins the part of the movies PLOT.

And also my favorite, the river scene, was heavily edited- no strings pulled on screen, no worms stabbed (through the shell)!!

To M's fans: "(madonna...ugh)" meant I dislike her appearance. Not so much her, fortunately unrecognizable, voice, that she gave to Selenia.

To everyone: I really dislike all of this editing that was done. I wouldn't like to be as disappointed with the sequels and I know alot of other people think the same.

As a way to say editing this movie was bad: I watched the original french one with subs and liked that more.Yes not quite the same as the english soundtrack, but good enough.

they didnt delete the kissing scenes i have seen this many times last time was yesterday and they didnt delete the kissing scenes cuz when she goes into the evil M,s place she kisses arthur so she gives her powers to him and theyre just about to kiss when they get locked up and they kiss when hes about to go out from that moonportal to be a human again
