This song makes me feel like it's 'the end'. After playing SH2, this was one of the oddest and most relieving moments ever. When I die, I hope I get a screen telling me how good I did in life with this song (the non piano version) playing.

hey sosogood, i jsut got silent hill homecoming today. unfortunately i have to say that so far in the game there wasnt a single piece that amazed me yet. so far i can say that, for most of their pieces they seem to have taken a more "ambient" approach.

I love this interpretation. I myself like to play everything up an octave, except for the last repeated phrase, which I play down an octave from written. I play the last chord as written though. It's different, but I like it more, personally. I still love it like this though.

On of the Best SH's melodies. Since SH3 had been released, the game music has changed some how and is getting worse and worse with every game now. But just listening to the music of the first two games makes me happy.

well silent hill 3 had a different theme, and feel. silent hill 4 did go downhill though, and the skeleton in the loading screens did look contrary to the feel of the overall theme. i hope they turn it around on silent hill 5 though

I agree with Jaepil. Silent Hill 3 was just a new exploration when it came to the music, and a re-visitation of the first game's atmosphere. Personally the SH3 soundtrack is my favorite (at the moment)... SH4 did sink the series pretty low, though. But I have faith that SH5's gonna bring it back up to the same standards that SH1 and 2 established early on, just judging from the previews and trailers.

thanks, means alot from a skilled person in music like yourself. id still not place too much faith on Silent Hill 5, even though i do hope it will make up for the last game. the reason why i say this is because alot of Konamis budget went into Metal Gear Solid 4, although i have heard Silent Hill didnt have a noticeably budget. also some of the known developers of Silent Hill were busy with Siren for ps3. its really iffy, i hope PS Network releases a demo of the game so i can get a feel for it.

Haha, thanks. I figured it wasn't playable, either, until I really started listening to it. It took forever to figure out because there's a delay/echo on the piano, and the melody is all muffled and watered-down by all the synths and stuff.
