Oh, yah, Mick Fleetwood! That's the real thing, baaay-beeee! Those summers in Africa were well spent, man. You got it. Some people play music. Some people ARE the music. 'Nuff said.
I was at this particular show at the COW PALACE in South San Francisco. I was doing concert security for Bill Graham at that time. The WHOLE show was just OUTSTANDING!!! I remember Mick doing this solo and it was mind blowing!!! Loved every minute of it!!
This was the tail end of the super era for "Fleetwood Mac". With Lindsey Buckingham's sudden exit from the group in 1987, the band still managed to hold it together and provide a great tour for "Tango In The Night" which was also a solid showcase for it's two newest members Billy Burnette & Rick Vito.....
It's unfortunate that their onstage chemistry didn't translate to the studio as their subsequent albums were a commerical and critical disappointment.....
@TheShirlSquirrel So true! Actual, good music is all but gone! Its too processed and all about 'image" and you could get that image for nothing in the "Red Light" district of a major city, sadly!
@TheShirlSquirrel Naw, Micks Absolutely Crazy drum solo in this video is better than all the rest U mentioned! Not trying to argue as I AGREE w/the 1st part of Your statement!!! To FREAKEN AWESOME!
Let me start off by saying this is a pretty good song and i like the in depth drum solo, it makes your feet start stompin. but the other day i was flippin through the channels and i came across a show on a bible network that was tearing this exact performance apart saying that it was a demonic satanic ritual. They said that mick was "summoning the devil to help him play music" If you watch at 6:29 to 6:33 this is the moment they said the devil, demon enters his body lol. that devil sure can play
21 años despues, use esta cansion como fondo para la intoduccion de arbitros y jugadores en la final de futbol de Millennium Soccer League y fue un exito.
billy burnette and rick vito killed the mac for a lot of people, myself included, but it really wasn't their fault, who wouldn't wanna join one of the biggest bands in the world?!!! strangely enough when rick vito left, mick fleetwood put together another line up with bekka bramlett in to replace stevie, and dave mason from traffic and they released TIME in 1995. it was wierdly a decent album with mick singing on one track. the guy is crazier the a shithouse rat!!!
at 5;19, he is really shakin' it1
