  • Yes, I saw this Tango in the Night tour in 1987. 2 x. It gets so wesome with the drum solo around 2;49.

  • Oh, yah, Mick Fleetwood! That's the real thing, baaay-beeee! Those summers in Africa were well spent, man. You got it. Some people play music. Some people ARE the music. 'Nuff said.

  • I was at this particular show at the COW PALACE in South San Francisco. I was doing concert security for Bill Graham at that time. The WHOLE show was just OUTSTANDING!!! I remember Mick doing this solo and it was mind blowing!!! Loved every minute of it!!

  • Lindsay is great no doubt but Rick Vito and Billy Burnette did great on this tour. They are both class musicians..

  • Mick is a maniac and genius at the same time...

  • @claptongroupie So right You are! Which makesan UNBEATABLE SHOW!!!!

  • @claptongroupie So right You are! Which makes an UNBEATABLE SHOW!!!!

  • what's the deal with the balls

  • @abbigailwilliams African Fertility symbol. You will see them on the Fleetwood Mac white Album as well.

  • wheres that time machine so that i can go back to when this kind of music was really music and not the kind of crap thats playing today?

  • Fantastic....grw up on these guys for 47 years and there still as good as they ever where!

  • This was the tail end of the super era for "Fleetwood Mac". With Lindsey Buckingham's sudden exit from the group in 1987, the band still managed to hold it together and provide a great tour for "Tango In The Night" which was also a solid showcase for it's two newest members Billy Burnette & Rick Vito.....

It's unfortunate that their onstage chemistry didn't translate to the studio as their subsequent albums were a commerical and critical disappointment.....

  • a master smokes the pack

    with his guitar

    forty six

  • thats one weird ass drum solo

  • HAHAHA, OMG!!!

You know what, these guys are so tight. I can't fault them for spicing things up a bit.

  • Vito is no Buckingham but he's still good. Christine is awesome, Stevie rocks...Fleetwood Mac is one of the best bands of all-time.

  • vito's brilliance just burblin'

    sweet

  • Where it is possible to download this concert ?

  • sorry, forgot the name of it, it's called Fleetwood Mac: Tango in the Night...

  • It should be available on DVD

  • Absoutely the best fricken band of my time!

Well wait a sec....let me retract that lol

Pink Floyd, Bad Company , Boston, Frampton & oh soooo many others came out of the woodwork at the same so needless to say, ....

THANK F'ING GAWD I WAS BORN BEFORE THE 70'S!

Cant hear no good music in this day & time!!!! *roflmfao*!!!!!!

  • @TheShirlSquirrel So true! Actual, good music is all but gone! Its too processed and all about 'image" and you could get that image for nothing in the "Red Light" district of a major city, sadly!

  • @TheShirlSquirrel Well, bite me. ;) I was born 87. And it sucks to be one of few to apreciate this kind of music.

  • @TheShirlSquirrel Naw, Micks Absolutely Crazy drum solo in this video is better than all the rest U mentioned! Not trying to argue as I AGREE w/the 1st part of Your statement!!! To FREAKEN AWESOME!

  • @TheShirlSquirrel THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ONLY GOOD MUSIC THAT COMES OUT NOWADAYS IS BY ARTISTS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE THOSE DAYS!!!

  • Awesome performance, absolutely loved it!

    *****

  • I really like how Stevie just wails at the end. What a great song.

  • some of you people just dont know good music when you hear it . the mac was in their time the greatist band ever bar none

  • Mick was very into African music and tribal rhythms at this point, and had spent time in Africa...

  • why are you even watching this video?

  • In Liebe für meinen Bruder Stefan, den besten auf der Welt!!!!!!!!!!!! Buzzer

  • Ihr seid MUSIKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That's just weird. What the hell is Mick doing ?

  • Some sort of tribal dance, I suppose. He did it well, for whatever that is worth....

  • @MarkJS1991

    he's high as fuck haha

  • weird song. but i like it

  • Creepy and disgusting behavior. It is no wonder Lindsey left. The song was good. But Mick ruined it with the nasty.

  • he really didnt ruin it i thought it was pretty funny

  • lol

  • good lord awsome

  • hahaha funniest/creepiest drum solo I have ever seen!

  • cool version. christine looks and sounds fantastic. the guys who replaced lindsey were so...blah. they were very average.

  • The old 80's hairstyle, gotta love it

  • Sounds Ok To Me.

  • just aint the same without lindsey

  • like micks drumming - he never complicates things

  • Let me start off by saying this is a pretty good song and i like the in depth drum solo, it makes your feet start stompin. but the other day i was flippin through the channels and i came across a show on a bible network that was tearing this exact performance apart saying that it was a demonic satanic ritual. They said that mick was "summoning the devil to help him play music" If you watch at 6:29 to 6:33 this is the moment they said the devil, demon enters his body lol. that devil sure can play

  • Really. What proof did they have, what were the sources ??

I really don't think that is true.

  • i dont think it is either. It was a southern baptist church type deal.

  • Idiots

He was summoning musical inspiration...and he found it.

I really get tired of those hypocrites.

  • If I remember rightly the percussionist was a guy called Assante...

  • mick is fukin awesome

  • what's up with the Satan-looking dude on percussion?

    Who IS that?

  • I've always loved Stevie's back up harmony in this song- it bewilders me that she was never included in the original recording.

  • totally agree....the live versions of this song has always been better then the album cut.

  • 21 años despues, use esta cansion como fondo para la intoduccion de arbitros y jugadores en la final de futbol de Millennium Soccer League y fue un exito.

    Gracias Fleetwood Mac.

  • this sound´s good, but in the version made in the live in boston concert world is turning much better!! i agree with a,b and c !!

  • billy burnette and rick vito killed the mac for a lot of people, myself included, but it really wasn't their fault, who wouldn't wanna join one of the biggest bands in the world?!!! strangely enough when rick vito left, mick fleetwood put together another line up with bekka bramlett in to replace stevie, and dave mason from traffic and they released TIME in 1995. it was wierdly a decent album with mick singing on one track. the guy is crazier the a shithouse rat!!!

  • There's nothing to compare between Stevie and Christine. They have such different voices and their voices suit different songs. They're both great!

  • I need to view some of Fleetwoodmac's stuff

and some of stevie nicks ,but I will leave before time alone. They were good and speakin of good drummers you are listening to one now

  • This sucks.

    LB all the way!

  • agreed with a b and c

  • greeeat

  • Yep, this video proves it:

a.) Mick is as crazy as he looks.

b.) Christie is sexier than Stevie (sings way better too).

c.) It takes two gutairst to = One L. Buckingham

  • i agree with a & c lol

  • that is the raddest vest that i've ever seen! i want one!

  • So cool!! Does he really have like drums or something like that in his shirt or pants or was he just doing that? Who was the other person playing?

  • totally flat musically, but mick is fabulous and the editing around his performance is pretty good.

  • ahaahaha mick is crazy, this is sick! xD

  • I disagree with ViperProject, this song just seems so dead in comparison to the way Lindsey plays it, also, I hate Billy's singing.

  • i agree no one could replace lindey. =)

    ~Jayson

  • a shorter version is on same song except add Sat night live (SNL) Oh so young here...

  • High tech for the day, whad do you think that vest cost, probably pay ALL my family bills for a few years!!!

  • This is the best version of World Turning ever. Billy and Rick have a bigger cool factor than LB.

  • Much as I like Billy and Rick, they are no and I mean no match for the genius that is LB.

  • ok...that's the weirdest solo I've ever seen!!
