@metorrex Make armor w/ Carving Celebrity, have Felynes Chefs w/Felyne Dismantle (Hi/Lo) skill then cut Gravios' tail off to get 2-3 carves. Hope for the best luck.

You can carve them from an HR9 Black Gravios' body or tail, or as a reward for defeating him. They are rare, so prepare to farm him...

IIRC it was very low, somewhere around 6-8% according to the Carve Guide on Gamefaqs.

He would wear Lao Shan down with his Dragon Beam and then dig underground to come up underneath him and stab him in the belly 0.0

Don't know if you know this Andrew, but in MHFU CAPCOM made it easier to tell when the Gravios is going to "fart" or not.

When he beams, black smoke may appear from underneath him. If this does happen, then it means he's going to fart after the beam. If the smoke doesn't appear, then he will not fart after the beam.

Just thought that would be useful for your melee buddies ^_^
