the sanchin kata is one of few learned in allmost every karate style. goju ryu,kyokushinkai and others do it.the big difference to uchi ryu is that they do it open hand wise. i do kyokushin and sanchin is one of my favourite katas, but i like the uchi ryu form better. don´t know but it looks much more firm and strong.great karate,great kata. greetz from the german kyokushinkai.

His name is Shinyu Gushi, he's pretty much the authority on Pangai Noon Uechi Ryu Karate in the 'States. Look him up.
