I agree that the man-made-religion is opposing the scientific facts. But I'm prouldy say that ISLAM is the scientifically in nature it is the only non man-made-religion. Science of embryology, oceanography and physiology and many other is Islam by it nature.
It surely won't happen anytime soon, but I firmly believe that as a species, we will have to leave religion behind if we want to continue to advance. In the desert, Jesus understood that the same God that 'promised him the world' was the Devil: this was the God of the conspirers who prophesied the Messiah being the ruler of the world. in Isaiah it said that the nations would pay tribute, a tax, to Israel: this would have required A LOT of bloodshed, and Jesus knew this. This is what he was refering to when he said this in John 8:44: this is why he taught non violence, and why he said the kingdom was not of this world.

the people responsible for the crusades were not people of god. they were ignorant and didn't understand the truth. you can't use them to disprove the one true god. people are always going to fall short of the mark. that doesn't mean that god does. the bible speaks against modern christianity and roman catholicism as well as paganism. The earliest christians were the GNOSTIC christians, those MYSTIC sages who taught SELF-KNOWLEDGE as the knowledge of GOD. They completely rejected the idea of a physical, bodily, earthly CHRIST. THey taught that the CHRIST is actually the SOUL. Well, that was interesting.. even though 90% of it was b.s. I give credit to the creator of this video for taking tiny bits of truth and then stretching them as far as possible. 1st, I couldnt find where it says that within this video. 2nd, even if it did, I dont see how that proves/disprove any "bs". The vid is comparing pagan religions with modern Christianity. One of the reasons people dont take Christians seriously is because they cannot make a substantial point. Its easy to say "this vid is 90% bs" without having the requirment to point the bs out. All nations have always been fond of war, and rationalize byway of promoting their worldview as the true one -- ancient Hebrew culture is no exception. Yes, America is also a spoiled child, but cultures change over time. Atheistic legislation is just a flipside to theistic legislation, i.e. they both want to impose their will. Finally, as a Christian, I have never understood what the concept of evolution is so threatening. The book of Genesis is not a science text book.

It surely won't happen anytime soon, but I firmly believe that as a species, we will have to leave religion behind if we want to continue to advance. Religion has only ever been a divisive force, opposing scientific inquiry and placing the cultures of the world in perpetual theological opposition to one another. One day, hopefully, we will be able to turn away from our imaginary gods, and be able to build the world we want for ourselves and our posterity.

i agree but is it not science built on nothing more then theories? most of which do not have true scientific proof so isnt science also a type of belief or religion in a sense? i have been studying a lot of the old religions and old history of humanity and humans strive all the time to look for something better then themself and end up following into beliefs that will lead them no where.
think of it Islam and Christianity came from Judaism in the same way one science comes from a previous one.

i must say that science and mathematics have more facts in it and religion really dosnt...science can be provin like for example..what gos up must come down as for the laws of gravity,theres 24 hours in a day and many other scientifical facts but religion is only known by others interpretations of it and it has been passed down from generation to generation...kind of scary.....

In the book of Galations, Paul speaks againsed any other gospels that are to come are false. The Gnostic Gospels were written well after the Christian Movement. Therfore are false gospels. So he does speak againsed other gospels. false ones. And Gnostics would be one of them. and it is a fact that the gospels were at least written before 70 A.D.

Well in 1sam 15:3 They spared Agog and EVERYTHING that was good. So they didnt follow through. Exodus 32:27-29 This was done because they were worshipping an idol and moses already seperated out the idol worshippers from the rest. The hebrews were to be set apart. So the rest had to die. This is not terror, this is punishment. please read in context before quoting a chapter

In the desert, Jesus understood that the same God that 'promised him the world' was the Devil: this was the God of the conspirers who prophesied the Messiah being the ruler of the world. in Isaiah it said that the nations would pay tribute, a tax, to Israel: this would have required A LOT of bloodshed, and Jesus knew this. This is what he was refering to when he said this in John 8:44: this is why he taught non violence, and why he said the kingdom was not of this world.

3. does it say tax or tribute. What is the original Hebrew Translation? You use alot of Alogoric interpretation. If you stop. It makes much more sense. The Bible wasnt meant to be a hard book to read.
