Hey Nick, I only became aware of it a few years a go too, and I was also on the 76 and 77 rides. I am actually in the film in two separate places, even though I was one of the Sydney riders. A solar hot water system was established on the lawns of parliament house, but it took decades for the politicians to start supporting renewable energy.
Thanks for posting this film! I had no idea it even existed. Given the events unfolding in Fukushima at this moment, I feel a real sense of collective pride now in have been amongst the riders on both the '76 and '77 anti-uranium rides. - Nick F
