do you have a double bass pedal?? i cant tell. also, what size sticks do you use? if you have a double pedal, you should try some blast beats, or breakdowns. like just try some metal songs. not because you have to like metal, but it will REALLY help your creativity with rock music. plus, its fun. try covering Survive by Rise Against, good introduction to some fast hi hat work.
@JohnAnthonyRock nicee. im a 7A dude. just attempt some metal songs or somethin with it, and it will help ALOT. ive never been a hug fan of metal, but i played some of it, and it helps a BUNCH with foot control. once you get that foot control, you can do so much with rock songs.

I actually do have a double bass pedal, i need to work with it more though. I use Vater 5A sticks. Thanks.
